I open my eyes to a white presence that grows closer and closer. "You can't give up. Your life has not ended, it has barely even started." The figure says, now clear enough to see. He's in a white robe and, I feel safe. "G-G-G-God?" I stutter. "Get back up, Skarlet. You are brave enough."

My eyes shoot wide open, blurry from the tears. I give a painful cough and persuade myself to continue trying. "Don't give up, it's not your time, Skarlet. Just PUSH IT OFF!" I grunt. "COME ON! JUST PUSH IT OFF! YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH! JUST TRY!" I feel it slide off just an inch, before my hands slide off.

"Come on! Keep on doing that!" I wipe the sweat off my hands onto what is now my dusty shirt and continue. My hands keep sliding off and I develop a pattern of wiping them off then lifting off the wing. "Keep trying!" I manage to lift my knees up a little bit, causing me to get a tighter grip.

"Come on! YES!" I say in relief as I had my left side free. I use my free side to push against the wing and try lifting it. "Ouch! Just don't - OUCH! Keep going!" I get the wing to lift a little bit off my lap, continuing to slide it off. More tears escape as my waist is free. "YES! YES!"

I lean over and push the two bodies and the plane seat of my feet and slide them out. I cry as I painfully start to stand up, losing my balance, instantly falling back down. Maybe I should wait for the circulation to enter back through my body.

The plane crashed. I don't know where I am. There's probably no service out here. What am I to do? I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I'm lost. Bawling, I push my knees to my chest and bury my head on them.

After many moments of my depressing thoughts, I push off my legs for another try. This time successful. I hurdle through the dusty pieces of the plain and the frightened bodies of it's passengers. Searching for my mom, dad, and Kasie. I feel my face go hot as I stare at my mothers body.

"Mom!" I run to her limp, cold body. Holding her in my arms, I cry. "I treated you so terrible. I was so careless and rude. I love you." I glance over to see my dads body, then, on the other side of the ruin, Kasie's body.

One by one, I drag their bodies out and hold each one of them to me and think about how I should have treated them. I travelled back into the debris to search for anything that could serve as help, coughing endlessly.

I found some flashlights, a pack of batteries, some food, lighters, matches, blankets, pillows, Kasie's bag, my bag, pen, notepad, and a teddy bear. I head back out and find a place to settle. Other than the fact I am lost and don't know what wildlife lived here, the surroundings are beautiful. There is a beautiful lake surrounded by miles and miles of trees and forest life.

I gather rocks and wood then sit down. I put the rocks in a circle for a firepit and pile wood in the middle. I grab a lighter I had found and light a fire. Staring into the flames I begin to break down. My body's going numb, I am breaking.
