"See ya Tom!" I holler as Tom and I turn our different directions. He gives a little wave before he goes back, running off to his friends.
I go to my locker and force my stuff into my bag.

"Hey!" I here a voice behind me say.

"Hey James." I call back. I stand up to see my best friend James standing in front of me. James is a typically hot guy, shaggy blonde hair, blue eyes, fair complection. He's been my BFF forever. Since we were little kiddos. Him, Reyna and me. The terrific trio.
"Ugggh" he exclaims, "we have a math test today."
"I know. Why do you have to remind me." I say as we sit down in our seats. The teachers have been more gentle with me recently. Mostly beacause everyone had pretty much given up on Reyna coming back. Not me though. I still belive with the tiny bits in my heart that Reyna will come back.

Soon as I know it the school day has ended. I haul my back-pack onto my shoulder and then meet James out side of his class. We got to get to the our job on time. We work at starbucks together. So did Reyna. As I said 'Terrific Trio'.

Well, we work there from 4:00 - 5:00 on weekdays and 10:00 - 11:30 on weekends. We head out to James's old Chevvy. We hop in and strapp our seat- belts in.

We pass my house on the way there and I see a delivery guy out the front.
" Looky there, princessa, a delivery man outside your house. What mustit be?" The princessa thing was an inside joke James , Reyna, and I made up. He would call Reyna his reina and I princessa. He rarely uses it any more and it has been a while since he has calles me that. It jerks a smile to my face.

"Yeah, wonder what is. Probally some of that ' anti - lady spray ' Tom uses" I joke. James grinns at that one.
Before we know it we're sliding out of the chevvy and I'm going to the bathroom to change. I got to put on ny unniforn shirt and appron on. As for the jeans, I'm fine.
Me and James go behind the cashier and start taking orders.
Frappe, caramel mocha, soy vanilla mocha, gluten free choclate syrup on top, two shots of caramel syrup and one shot of hazelnut, cherry blossom frappe... wait what?
Customer after customer after customer. Soon our shift is over and we're heading home.

James dropps me off first and I wave goodbye.

The box is gone and I open the door and start to say "Mama, I'm home" when I see my mum, dad and Tom on the kitchen counter with serious looks on their faces. Mama is clutching a box in her hand. Then I hear her say
"Violet, come."
