chapter four

**Zoe's POV**

The concert had just finished so Eleanor was walking Alfie and I backstage to meet up with the whole lot.

We actually had bodyguards working at the venue accompanying us on our walk through the crowds. When we were walking it all felt like slow motion. I took out my vlogging camera and started recording. I already filmed an intro in the car with El and Alfie so that was out of the way.

I glanced at Alfie who had a big smile on his face. He was enjoying this.

The more we walked toward the backstage the crazier the girls (and boys) got.

One we reached the point where no fans were allowed, we abandoned the bodyguards and Eleanor showed led the way.

We came to a long hallway with three doors on each side.

"Here we are!" Eleanor finally said as she opened the door.

**Harry's POV**

"Whew! Great show that was!" I shouted running down the stair from the stage.

"I know!" Zayn replied, "the crowd was amazing!... Wait, Harry. What are you doing to Louis?"

I had Louis in a headlock just to annoy him.

I always had to have my fix of brotherly love when there weren't any cameras around... If I did it in public once, everybody would be talking about Larry Sylinson.

"HARRY! Get off, I can't breath!" He tried to escape but I had him in the perfect position.

Getting Liam to teach me his moves was a great idea.

"NOT NOW, NOT EVER!" I yelled a bit over dramatically.

I still had him in the headlock when Louis got a sudden burst of strength or, confidence when he saw Eleanor walking into the room.

I always wanted something like that...

I looked up when Lou broke free, but in the doorway it wasn't just Eleanor. It was a tall lanky boy with, ehh, shortish brown hair. I think he might have died it (there was a spot that was darker than the rest of his hair). He was wearing something Niall would wear, with... Ehh. Tighter pants.

Next to the boy was a girl.

She was quite small.

This girl, this stunningly beautiful, fit girl.

Gorgeous blue eyes and long brown hair.

I watched her go around the room, meeting everyone.

After I noticed she had met everybody I somewhat slowly walked over to her, and before I could stop myself I awkwardly said,

"Hi, I'm Harry."

**Zoe's POV**

I walked through the doors and straight away saw each of the boys were completly down to earth.

Harry had Louis in a headlock, Liam was on an iPhone, Zayn was sitting on the couch casually talking to Niall, and Josh was... eating a sandwich.

These were all the things normal boys would do.

Louis looked up at the sound of the door opening. His eyes immedietly lit up when he saw Eleanor and it was like time stopped when their eyes locked. Louis suddenly shook Harry's hold and he walked to the doorway to kiss El.

I must have been staring for quite a while because Niall piped up and said, "They're really in love. They do that when the cameras aren't there. Ya know, they don't want to be judged."

I smiled at him, "It really is beautiful. Such a shame not everyone can see that." I realised he still most likely didn't know who I was so i introduced myself.

"I'm Zoe. I'm a friend of Eleanor's and this is my friend Alfie!' I pointed at him when I relized he had appeared behind me.

After introducing myself and Alfie Niall hugged us both as Josh came over to us.

"Hey!" He said stopping next to Niall.

"Hi Josh, this is Zoe and Alfie, a friend of Eleanor's."

"Ohhhh," he said as he nodded his head, "Wait! I have an idea."

His eyes lit up as he stood on top of the coffee table that was in front of the couch.

"Everyone!" He said loudly, even though it was a rather small room. "This is Zoe and Alfie, they are friends of Eleanor'' His smile slowly faded when everybody in the room started displaying questioned expressions on their faces, "Just thought it would be easier for them - they wouldn't have to introduce themselves each time they... Yeah I think I will shut up now." Embarrased, Josh slowly stepped down from the table, he was blushing.

I slowly made my way around the room meeting everybody there was to meet. Everyone was lovely.
As you probably know, my favorite member of One Direction is Harry. The reason I didn't say hi to him first was because I felt so nervous that I was going to make a fool out of myself.

Now, don't get me wrong. I was pleanty nervous meeting everyone else but, I wanted to make an especially good impression on Harry for some reason.

Just as I was finished meeting Liam, Harry walked over to me. Almost as if it was a reflex, I self consciously touched my hair to make sure it wasn't out of place. He stopped in frontof me with a smirk on his face.

"Hi, I'm Harry."

"Zoe." I said. I looked straight into his eyes and he looked into mine.

Some say the eyes are a window to the soul, but I just got lost in his.

Suddenly Alfie nuged me to the side so he could stand directly in front of Harry. He was trying to look taller than normal with his back straight, which caused his chest to look bigger than normal.

"And I'm Alfie."

Alfie was being protective for some reason. Harry must have put one and two together because the next thing he said was: "So you guys are together?"

Immediatly I replied, "No! Of course not! Just friends" As I finished speaking I looked at Alfie waiting for him to comfirm this as well. He hesitated for a milisecond as he glanced at the ground.

"Just Friends"
