"Who knew an old man could cause such damage to a community," JJ said as her and Reid walked to the elevator doors. They had just came back from Seattle, Washington after solving a case that involved an old man with schizophrenia believing that the men in his neighborhood were after him.

"Paranoid schizophrenics often have delusions and therefore believing that the delusions are real," Reid said as the elevator door opened.

"Lucky thing I was there to help my mother through it until I was old enough to put her in a mental care home," Reid said as he stepped into the elevator with JJ trailing behind.

"Your mom is probably greatful for everything you've done for her."

"I guess so."

The elevator doors opened and the two of them stepped out. They were talking about what one another were going to do as soon as they got home. JJ was just exhausted to the point where Reid could tell by the musty, coarseness in her voice and couldn't blame her. He wanted to be back in his bed as much as she wanted to be in her own. She also mentioned how happy she'll be to spend some time with Henry before it's time for him to go to bed. JJ soon asked him what he was planning to do for the night.

"Catching up on some sleep mostly," he responded and did he ever need it. He looked like a mess from days without at least six hours of sleep. The whole team was. JJ nodded in agreement.

They soon waved goodbye to each other to go to their cars and to their homes to enjoy the comfort of their beds. Reid went into his car and started the engine. He could just feel his eyelids getting droopy on him, he didn't even know if he could manage to drive himself home safetly. He rolled down the window to let him some of the cool May night breeze inside of his stuffy car. He took off his satchel and placed it beside him in the passenger seat so he could finally get out of the parking lot to go on his journey home. He put his car in drive, stepped on the gas pedal about to go on his way, but was interrupted by his cellphone ringing. He took a deep sigh before he reached into his satchel to grab his cellphone. He took a quick glance at the caller ID and could have only guessed that it was Carmen calling him. He answered.

"Hello, Carmen," he answered.

He heard hangers clinking against a metal bar. It sounded as if she was taking something down, from that screeching sound of the tip of the hanger scraping against the bar and then putting stuff back in it's place creating a clinking sound.

"Hey, Spenc-,"

He soon heard a big thud on the ground. She must have dropped her phone.

"Shit," he heard her mumble to herself as she picked up her phone.

"Sorry about that, it was on my shoulder and it just slipped when I tilted my head the other way a bit," she explained.

Reid chuckled. "Can I take a guess as to why you called me?"

"Go ahead and guess."

"Um, from the sound of you going through your closet to pick out an outfit to wear to Aleesha's bachlorette party tomorrow and you need help to decide what to wear."
