Shield Agent Male!Reader x Bruce

Agent (M/N) has been working at SHIELD for about 6 years, 2 of those years he has been apart of the Avengers so his life has never been boring in the least. He was requested personally by the team because of his powers. He is able to open tears whenever he can sense them (like Elizabeth from Bioshock). A plus to that is (M/N)'s fighting skills are up to par with Natasha's and his intelligence rivals with that of Tony's. That instantly drew Bruce towards him. (M/N)'s personality makes him loved by all, including Natasha and Bucky. He's very calm and easy-going, which is exactly what Bruce needs to keep the "other guy" at bay.

"Hey Bruce, whatcha' workin' on?" (M/N) drawled out as he entered the lab and placed his hands on the scientist's shoulders and looked over his head. Bruce flushed bright red and willed himself to calm down. Oh yeah, did I mention sweet little Brucie has a small (Read as: big) crush on (M/N).

"Um, just some possible adjustments to Bucky's arm" Bruce responded, keeping his head downcast. A deep chuckle sounded right by Bruce's ear and he flushed down to his neck. That voice did some strange shit to him.

"I assume Tony has been bothering him about it" (M/N) said rhetorically as he let got of the timid man and sat beside him. The brunette tried not to feel too disappointed by that. The two males kept casually talking when Tony strolled into the lab. He noticed the men talking and took in that they were sitting closer than usual. Being the person that he is, Tony instantly made an assumption.

"I see you told (N/N) how you felt huh?" The billionaire asked as he threw an arm around the (h/c) haired male's shoulder. Bruce tensed up and turned his attention to an idiot of a partner, who was smirking.

"Uh, what are you talking about Tony?" (M/N) asked, looking between the two genius'. Green splotches started forming on Bruce's face as he glared at Tony. The billionaire squeaked in fear and instantly fled, shouting out a "Good luck!" to the (h/c)nette. The (e/c) eyed adult instantly went over to Bruce and placed his hands on his cheeks.

"Hey Brucie, calm down. It's just you and me here. Deep breaths" (M/N) said soothingly, gently caressing his face. It didn't seem to be working and the (h/c) male braced himself before leaning in and softly kissing the scientist. The reaction was instant: Bruce froze, cheeks turning bright red, and he hesitantly kissed back. They stayed like that for a few more seconds before pulling away.

"I love you Brucie" (M/N) cooed softly, nudging his nose against his lover's.

"I love you too (N/N)" Bruce said, a shy smile on his face as he was pulled in for another kiss.

Sorry for random hiatus, I actually had gotten surgery done around the same time I published this book so I dedicated most of my time to recovering. Then school happened and I haven't had any time to get on or think of stories. But thanks to everyone that has been patient enough to wait.
