The guys were sharing a conversation as they walk in front of us while we trailed behind a bit.
"Usually the boys bring home 4 hundred dollars each"
"They all race?"
"No.. Jesse sometime, but mostly Xavier. He's really good"
I swear I've seen this scene in a movie. The Girls here were dressed like prostitues.. And the guys with them looked like bad ass jerks. This place is nasty. Trash on the floor, spilled liquids ever where,dirt.
"One time, Melanie and I were sitting at the car alone and this guy totally spazzed out started a conversation with us but Jesse came over and ran him off"
"new meat" a guy yells looking at me. The boys stop looking over to the guy. "Baby" Xavier stretches his hand out for me to take it. He looked so angry.

"Good. Stay with Jesse and Malik, okay?"

"And for future reference, you are not allowed to come back here" I smirk then he smirks. "I'm serious"

We got to this big old broken dodge truck when Xavier picked me up and sat me on the front.
He was so cute in a scary way. Well he's not scary to me anymore. Probably because I only know his soft side.

The boys were happy and some people on the side lines were cheering. Aria shared Jesse's excitement.
"Why so happy?" I ask her
"Every win is 200 dollars Kennedy. Xavier shares with the boys and Jesse gives me half of his"

"And King wins again !" A guy says walking up to the boys with 3 other guys with him.
"Purely good luck" Xavier smiles giving them that guy hand shake. I lean over to Aria and ask her who they are.
"The other members of Westside boys"she whispers to me.
I watch as they talk and play around. If I didn't know them I would think their all brothers or bestfriends. Xavier catches me then walks over extending his hand for me. I take it and jump off the truck.
"These are the rest of the boys. Reece. Danny boy, and Jimenez" he says pointing at them all.
"Who is this ?"
"Xavier's lady" Malik speaks before Xavier could. They all share shocked expressions and oooo's

They all say hi in unison as do I.
"Xavier" Jesse calls in a serious tone. King warps his arm around my neck looking at the guys approaching us.
"Well well well. If it isn't Westside boys" this guy had blue eyes and a crooked smile
"What's up Rider" Xavier speaks
"Haven't seen you guys here in a while. What's the occasion ?"
"Just making some extra cash"
"Oh.. How much extra cash did you rack up?"
"It's none of your business" Xavier spits. 'Rider' looks at me. Up and down then straight into my eyes. Creepy he was.
"We're leaving" Xavier says walking past him pulling me with him.
