Wednesday 8 o'clock pm .
I've been doing this ever since I was 5 and I still get nervous to the point where I want to throw up. My hands are sweating, and my heart is pounding, my lips are dry... But suddenly it all goes away when my eyes lock with Xavier's. He does something rare. Smiles. An honest smile from his lips. I let out a much needed breath. The music plays and I start my original piece I've been working on for 2 months. It's called "butterfly". I've worked so hard on it and it's one of my favorites honestly. The background I created that (hopefully) shows through my dancing is my transformation from a broken childhood to self love. Obviously personal. I only invited mom, dad, Aria, and Xavier.
When the ending hit I was out of breath and eyes watery. I got a standing ovation 😭❤️
I went to my room and sat in my chair crying to myself. I was so proud of my self✊💜
One knock them my guest came in.
"Kennedy you did so good!" My mom hugged me
"It's true. Natural born dancer" my dad kisses my head.
Aria handed me my flowers and kissed my cheek"that's my bestfriend that's my bestfriend" we both smiled
"Thanks guys. Thank you so much"
"Dinner on me" my dad bust out with his regular proposal lol
"Just give me 15 minutes, I'll be out of here" they nodded and all but my baby left the room.
He grabbed my waist and lightly pulled me to him. His beautiful blue eyes starring in to my brown ones made me feel like a diamond💕💎 like it was just me and him. Like I only mattered. .. Like I'm beautiful. Nobody ever gave me the time of day like he did, at this very moment I fell in love.... And I think he knew it
"You did so good. You Looked like a true princess up there"
"Thank you" I smile.
"You keep amazing me and I love it"
