*Allyssa's pov*
I'm sweating, sweating from just pure nervousness. The ocean of high schoolers chatted away loudly or they were making out with someone at their locker.
"Hey, watch it!" A boy shouted as he ran straight into me, knocking me onto the ground.
I groaned as I picked up my papers and folders as quickly as possible. I held my schedule up in front of me. Ok, English is my first class of the day.
"Do you see her hair?" I heard a girl mumble.
"Yeah, are you sure it's a 'her'?" The other girl said with a laugh.
I rolled my eyes and walked rather quickly to my English class. I know my hair is really short, but really? As I made it into the class, finally, I took a seat as soon as the bell signaled class is now in session. The first day always sucks. Being a freshman will only make it harder...

It was time for third period... Algebra... I held my schedule up shakily as I checked to make sure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. I'm not the best when it comes to math. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as I stepped into the classroom.
Students were throwing papers, pushing each other around, or totally geeking it out at the back table. Yep, definitely a freshman math class.
"Alright! For today, you may sit where you want," the teacher informed us as he made his way past me to his desk.
I quickly took a seat next to my friend Jasmine.
"Hi," I whispered.
"Allyssa!" She shouted as she hugged me tightly.
Everyone's eyes were on us and I felt my cheeks suddenly becoming hot. She let go of me and I took this chance to scan the room and see who is in this class with me. Chris, Jasmine, and then I froze. It's him. He was laughing at something Chris said. His eyes sparkled with happiness and amusement. He's perfect, so gorgeous. Dominic was the only guy I ever thought of. He was funny, charming, beautiful eyes, perfect smile, and he makes me blush just from looking at him!
He waved to me with a smirk. My cheeks felt like they were on fire as I quickly turned back around in my seat.
"He w-waved at me," I whispered as I stared at my lap.
"Who? What? I'm lost-Oh! You have the hots for Dominic!" Jasmine said rather loudly.
I threw my head into my hands as I told her to shut up.
This is going to be a long day.

Lunch time was always my time to think about everything. All I could think about was him and those beautiful eyes. He had eyes that were just so captivating and they made me want to know more about him.
He has eyes like the sea. They were calming, gorgeous, and so blue. He has eyes like the sea. They showed that he could be unpredictable, strong, and intimidating. That's the only way to describe it; he has eyes like the sea...
