I honestly don't remember how we all got back to camp. I just remember spiraling into darkness and waking up in the infirmary. I looked around, confused. My head was pounding so hard I saw black dots dancing in front of my vision.

I looked to my left and found an IV bag hooked up to my arm, along with a heart monitor hooked up to my chest. I looked to my right and saw Tal in the bed next to me. She was so close I could reach out and grab her hand. Her whole left leg was in a cast, her right wrist was in an ACE bandage. In the  bed next to her was a sleeping Grover. Across from their beds were Annabeth and Percy, both bandaged from head to toe. Looking at them made me nauseous. I was going to sit up and go to Tal's side, stroke her forehead, whisper softly to her but my vision started to fail me once more and everything went black.

When I woke up again I wasn't sure how long I was out. The sun shined through the window, making me squint as I looked around. The throbbing in my head had subsided some, but it was still there. I looked to Tal's bed and found a guy sitting there. He had curly blonde hair and tan skin, freckles across his face. He had a bowl of mushed yellow stuff with a spoon and was feeding it to Tal.

I frowned. "What is that?" I asked him.

The boy looked over and smiled. "You're awake!" He grinned happily. "It's ambrosia. Just mushed up so I can feed it to her"

I blinked, looking to Tal's pale form, biting my lip. "Can I feed her it? Please?" I asked, sitting up and resting on my elbow.

The boy thought for a moment. "Alright, but you need to go back to bed right after. You need your rest" He said, handing me the bowl. I took it and sat up, shakily walking to the chair and sitting back down.

I stirred the ambrosia a bit a before sniffing it and getting a spoonful, easing it past Tal's lips. I continued doing this, talking to her and asking questions, as if I was expecting her to answer. Once the bowl was empty I set it down on the nightstand and took her hand, stroking it softly. I studied her facial features for a bit, tracing them gently. Finally, I bent down and kissed her gently.

I pulled away and stood, going back to bed.

When I woke up again it was Tal who was sitting by me, forcing spoonfuls of mushed ambrosia past my lips. She smiled when she saw I was awake. I swallowed my mouthful of godly food and smiled softly up to her. "Hey"

Tal smiled to and instead off responding, knelt down and let her lips meet mine.

And if you're wondering, I kissed her right back.
