Your POV

3rd Person

You just woke up, excited about getting your letter. You jump up out of bed and run to your bathroom. After taking a shower and getting dressed into your F/c shirt, a pair of Grey tights along with some boots. You slid down the railing of your stairs, even though your parents hate you doing that.

1st Person

"Y/n, you know we hate you doing that even if we are Pure-bloods and have the money to get a new one we'd rather not spend it all on furniture." Mom says laughing but in a serious tone like she always does when she's hiding something.

"Mom, what are you hiding?" I start walking towards her. She saw that i was coming closer so she decided to make a run for it.

"You'll have to catch me in order to find out!"

"But you know i hate running that's why we have magic!" I exclaim taking my wand out of my boot and saying a charm under my breath, ropes wrapped around her ankles cause her to fall. Even though I'm a first year I decided to educate myself over the summer so I can be at the top of my class or house, like my parents and their parents were.

"Y/n what have i told you!?! You are not allowed to use magic when we play games or.."

"Anything else, that's what house elfs are for. I know but im not in the running mood." Cutting her off. She never liked it when I'd cut her off.

"Its fine....now can you please tell the house elfs that we will be having visitors over." Undoing the ropes, she gets up and goes to the mail that was left on the dining room table.

I saw what she was doing and ran over to her causing her to bump into the table, knocking over a glass. Luckily for her a spell that I just learned was very useful.

The glass flew towards me before it fell. Mum seemed to be surprised that i learned a useful spell that she didn't get mad.

"Bloody Hell, Y/n try not to be this clumsy at Hogwarts please." Handing me the letter. As i screamed in excitement.

"Its here! Its here!" Jumping up and down trying to open the letter.

"Try to be calm when our guests arrive." Laughing mum walks to the Kitchen and asks one of the house elfs to prepare for six.

"Hey mum i forgot to ask you who is comeing over?" Rembering that she said we had guests coming over.

"We are having the Malfoy's over. You remember your old best friend Draco?" As she said that my jaw dropped to the floor.

'I can't believe my crush since i was 8 years old is coming over to my house!'

"Hello, earth to y/n, you zoned off. Is that okay with you, you know the Malfoy's coming over is alright with you."

"Um yeah that's fine i guess why wouldn't I be?" Trying to pull it off that i wasn't to happy nor shocked.

"I'm going to go to my bedroom mum is that fine?" I say trying to hurry.

"Sure, but be down here at 6:00 a'clock because I think they shall be arriving around that time." She says looking at the clock as if she didnt know what time it was. Narssica was my mum's best friend and i could see why, they were im the same house and became best friend right away and they were both Pure-Bloods not that my mum hated mud-bloods but she just thought on how could two non-magical parents make a child with magical powers.
