Kyle POV-

2:45 10/17/04: Oh god I'm going to die, I'm going to die... I don't even know why I'm writing this. They are all dead... all of them... oh god.

3:23: All right... so... ya. If you're reading this I assume you know what happened. If not then first of all, HOW!?!? And second off... actually. No. Guess.

3:46: Right... So. What happened was tha

The text mysteriously cut off at that point, likely because something had come and eaten him. But these logs were not what interested me. What interested me was the text below it. It was a button. "OPEN SAFE"

I grinned, and as I pressed it a door creaked to my left. I pulled it all the way open. I hit the jackpot. Inside was a handgun. Sure, it wasn't as good as the raiders found on a daily basis, but being with them was a guaranteed way to get your head blown off by someone.

The handgun was the first weapon I had found, other than a broken chainsaw and a pocket knife, neither of which were any good in a fight. Also in the safe were a few blocks of gold. I might be able to get something for those, but not much.

I decided it was time to head back outside. Opened the door to the office building and soaked in the rads, listening to the sound of my Geiger Counter going off the charts.

I jumped away from the sludge and bee-lined it towards the city. I knew which way to go.

But I made a big mistake running in the city. I was heard from blocks away, and raiders started shooting at me through the alleyway, and I collapsed as bullets pounded my chest. Time slowed. I hoped it wouldn't come to this. But it did. I stood up, the feeling of being shot still fresh in my nerves, but I soldiered forward.

I sidestepped the slowly moving bullets and walked up to the first raider. I grabbed him by the wrist of his right arm, and lifted it. Not an easy task, mind you, with 4 bullet holes in my chest. He shot once more, straight upward, and without the support of his left hand the recoil on his gun was to much.

The gun pushed downward until it hit him in his head. The hit was hard, and he essentially killed himself.

The second raider had a rifle. I began to run as time began to speed up. Time would soon be faster than normal to make up for its previous slowing, and I needed to be safe when that happened.

A shot whizzed past, but I ducked around the corner and into the well guarded city just in time.

And that's when time got its revenge, as hours went by in mere seconds, and the next thing I knew I was at home.
