As the sun rose on a changed landscape, the whole circumstances were changed. Nothing was going on as it has been planned to be. Just one night ago or we should say that just a few hours ago there was a lot of mirth in the environment. Everyone was very happy. Aisha was happy. Her parents were even happier than she was. Who would not be happy on the auspicious occasion of their daughter's marriage?

However, few hours ago some things changed their lives forever. Aisha, a beautiful and graceful woman, in her late twenties, dressed in a bride's wonderful attire, was sitting in a corner. She had nothing on her face. She was as quite as a lake in summer afternoon. Her mother was sitting at another corner. She was sobbing bitterly. She was crying at her daughter's misfortune. Poor Aisha, the boy whom she loved dearly since five years and whom she was getting married with, died a few hours ago.

Nikhil was a young fellow who worked with Aisha in her office as her senior. They were best friends and soon their friendship changed into love. They were in a committed relationship since five years. They wanted to get married as soon as possible but there love was not acceptable to their families. This was because they were from different religions and although its twenty first century but intercultural marriages are still not an easy task in India for young couples like them. They had to face many obstacles. Family, relatives and at the end society was all they had to face. Nevertheless, they were determined and nothing could change them. It took them five years to make everyone ready for their marriage.
