The Beginning of the Fantasy

Hi my name is Day, and I have a little sister named Theresa she is my world. She is all I have in the world it is me and her.  Today a chauffeur pulled up to our castle in a limo to take us to a new and better castle she said. So me and Theresa got what little we had together and got into the limo and started our adventure to a new castle. Our mom was waving out of the top window and I was crying so was Theresa we didn't want to leave our mom. But the chauffeur wasn't that bad she started to tell us about our new castle and the king and queen that live there. When we got to the castle it was big and had a lot of space to play outside. There were even horses and a gate to the property. We were still crying I was confused on where we were. It was out in the middle of a beautiful field. There was a lot of people out in the front yard. There was the queen and king and their sons and daughters. They had like 7 kids. I was overwhelmed and frightened. But they looked nice, so when the chauffeur open the door and helped me out I just stood by the limo until she pushed me toward the queen and king.

Two beautiful dogs came running out with diamond studded collars and perfectly soft and shiny coats of fur. Then we saw the dragon coming out of the house and I ran to hide, but the case work stopped me. I was diving for the limo, then I realized it wasn't such a scary dragon. They took us inside and took us to our room. It was huge and we both had a post bed princess style. The room was a light pink with light pink lacy curtains, and butterflies on the wall. The comforters on the beds were soft and warm and had butterflies and flowers on them. There were so many toys in our room it was like a toy store. I couldn't believe it. All of a sudden a prince or at least I believe he was a prince came riding up on a horse. And out of no where Scooby Doo came into our room and started to lick us and we couldn't stop laughing. A maid came in and put our things into the dresser and closet. And left out two gorgeous dresses one for me and one for Theresa for dinner. She told us that each night dinner was at 6 and was a formal affair. 

We found out that the boy on the horse was a prince and it was our uncle Robert. We ran and gave him a hug it was good to see a from earlier face in a new scary place. I looked at the clock and it was 15 til 6 so I grabbed Theresa and went to our room to get ready for dinner. We were a little late and by the time we go there most of the food was gone, but the king and queen had made up plates for me and Theresa. I saw uncle Robert sitting next to the king and talking I was wondering what they were talking about until  he turned to me. He said, "Day I am taking you and Theresa home with me to grandma's castle in the country, so go and tell the maids to repack your things and bring them down stairs." I was happy and a little annoyed, why hadn't the chauffeur taken us there in the first place. I could see the devastation in the eyes of the queen and king. I had never seen that look before when it came to us getting moved, our mother was always sad but never devastated and she always had a little smirk on her face. Theresa never saw it thank goodness.

I asked my nice maid to help me repack mine and Theresa's things, so that we could go with our uncle. So she came upstairs with me and helped me pack she kept on telling me that she would do it, but I wanted to help. I had to have time to clear my head and think things over. Theresa was still downstairs with the king and queen, so I was not afraid to break down the walls of my fantasy that I had created for me and Theresa and look at what was really going on.

What Actually Happened

The case worker came pounding at the door I opened it as I always do. The next moment we were being carried out of our apartment. Me kicking, screaming, and crying Theresa doing the same except she was also biting them. I looked back at mom and there was no emotion on her face, I think she was stoned like always. But even if she wasn't she wouldn't care. I realized that, but she told me we would be a family again and I am going to make sure of that. As we were put in the car I got free and ran back toward mom. The case work caught me just as I was about to hug mom. I just started crying and crying, mom looked at me still with no emotion and yelled, "STOP CRYING YOU FOOLISH LITTLE GIRL, WHAT IS THERE TO CRY ABOUT!!!!" I just stared at her and kept crying. I didn't fight the case worker anymore I was to tired and shocked. When I was put in the car I looked over at Theresa and realized that she had cried herself to sleep.

We were told that we were allowed to have supervised visits with our mom whatever that means. I mean I am only 4.  The case worker went back into our little apartment for something, she came back out with a little suitcase and two little backpacks. I looked and they were mine and Theresa's backpacks, but I had never seen the small suitcase before. I have no clue what is going on I am so confused. Why are we in this car and mom is not? Where are we going? Why is our stuff what little we have being put into the car? Are we going to be okay?

The case worker got into the car and started it I turned around in my buster set to get one last look at my mom, but she wasn't there anymore. She had already gone back inside to most likely get stoned again. I set quietly crying the whole hour it took to get to our foster families house.I turned to Theresa and saw that she had cried herself to sleep and there were still tears running down her face. Looks like it was just me and her I mean I already take care of her how much harder could it get. I was terrified about was happening, because I had no clue what was happening all I knew was that we were away from home and our mother. What was going to happen to us? Would we always be together? Will this new family be nice and loving? How long are we going to stay here? Most of all what is going to happen to me and my little sister?
