~ Chapter 1 ~
"Dad I'm sorry! OK?"
"Sorry doesn't fix the car, now does it!?"
"Well... it wasn't my fault!"
Actually it was. You see, I had just started driving lessons and, as any teenager would be, I was major excited about the whole 'driving' thing. I took my dad's work car out for a spin, so I could show of my new skills to my mates, but I crashed. Into a fence. Luckily, I was ok. The car was.. well, the opposite.
"Wasn't your fault!? Rubbish. You young lady are getting a-"
"NO!" I scream "Don't say it!"
"A J--- J-- Jo-- Job."
He flings a newspaper at me and wanders out of the room whistling a stupid 60's song.
"Fine. I will get dumb job."
I flick through the paper until I find the job advert that gives you the most money. That way I wont have to work forever to pay back my parents.
Ah ha! Babysitting. 'Mr.Mackay is looking for a responsible adult to look after his children while he is at work. He has a few children needing to be looked after...' I stopped reading after that, and skim to the end so I can get their address. Huh. They only live across the road. I can easily do this.
It only says a few children anyway.
How hard can it be?
