Chapter 1 ♡

Niall POV

"Thank you LA," I shouted into the microphone as we went offstage sinking down. Once we were done I took my earplugs out and jumped off the stage thing. "I'm gonna miss America," Harry shouted over the screams as we walked to our dressing rooms. "Yeah, but I get to spend time with El and my family," Lou smiled most likely thinking about El. "We're all excited to spend time with our family," I added and everyone nodded in response.

"Anyone want a water," Lou said looking through thr mini fridge. "Throw me one," Zayn said holding out his hands to catch it. I put my ear plugs in its case and into my backpack. "Time to go lads," Paul said coming in.

We all collected our things we brought from the tour bus. I put my backpack on my back. We left the dressing room and walked down the busy hall the closer you got the louder the screams got. We walked to the private parking lot full of vans, busses and police ready to escort us. I got in the all black van moving over for the lads.

I watched as the police started their motorcycles and started to drive out the parking lot. The closer we got to the street the louder the screams got. "I never get used to this," Lou chuckled. A girl came smashing her face against the window and Zayn letting out a high pitched scream. "Really" I asked him with humor in my voice. I didn't see it coming" he defended I burst into laughter. "Sure" Liam said sarcastically. "I'm hungry" Louis groaned loudly. "Here" Harry said throwing him a bag of crisps from his backpack.

I'll see ya in a month" I said to the lads as I ran outside to my plane. I lookee back to Liam hugging the window making a puppy dog face. I waved one more time and got on the plane. I sat my backpack on the seat next to me.

"My baby," My mum shouted crushing me into a hug "I've missed you so much" She sobbed. "I've missed you too mum," I replied rubbing her back. "Well c'mon it's cold out here" she said pulling me in the house. "Surprise," I shouted late. "You should've told me you were coming I would've cleaned and made your favorite foods and invited Denise and Greg over-," She babbled. "I like it the way it is, you relax how about I go get blankets you relax on the couch and we just talk" I said leading her to the warm living room. I went down the familiar hall opening the closet and grabbing two blankets. I went back into the living room placing a blanket on mum and sitting next t her.

"How's everyone been" I asked. "Great as always Denise and Greg have been really happy with Theo," she said. "Where's Chris," I asked. "Work," She answered, "enough about me how've you been," She alee changing the subject. "I've been getting better I still miss her" I sighed. "She was such a lovely girl," She smiled. "Yeah she was" I nodded. "Would you have married her," She asked. "Yeah we were together for two years," I nodded. "She'll come back and if not you'll find someone" She said.messing up my hair more than it already is, "how are the lads," she asked. "They're great Zayn is popping the question to Perrie while away" I told her. "Aww," she gushed, "young love!" I laughed at her for that weird moment.

A whistling noise came from the kitchen making us jump. "Tea," mum said getting up and hurrying to the kitchen. I wrapped my cover around myself and followed. She poured the hot tea into two mugs and placing them on the table in front of me with sugar, milk and spoons. "When's the last time you had a good cup of tea," She asked. "It's been awhile" I answered. Mum took my cup and made the tea for me. "How'bout a home cooked meal" She asked. "About a month or two" I answered. "I'm gonna cook up something for you tomorrow," She answered; I did a little happy dance in my chair like a little kid making mum laugh. She handed me my tea telling me to be carefulbecause it was still hot.

We finished our tea while carrying on conversations about how long I would be here, what we could do, pretty much anything.

Soon enough I let a few yawns escape my lips and mum made me go to bed. I went upstairs and down the hall to my old bedroom mum turned into a guest room. I placed my bags in a corner and got undressed until I was.left in my boxers. I laid in bed moving around to get warm and comfortable. As soon as I was comfortable I fell asleep.

Flashback:

"I want to win that bear" Natalie exclaimed pointing at the gigantic bear with a bow tie. "Holy shit how will you carry it around" I asked/ joked. "I don't know but I want it" She smiled. I grabbed my wallet from my back pocket of my jeans. I grabbed a note and shoved my wallet in my back pocket. "Three tries please" I said to the guy. He collected my money and handed me three balls. I threw the ball as hard as I could only knocking down two of the cups. The guy set them up again and I tried again missing AGAIN. I lightly threw the ball in my hand and it landed in the palm of my hand. I threw the ball hard knocking down the same two. I groaned out loud setting down a note and recievd three more. I threw ball once more knocking down the top cup. The guy set them up again. I focused on the cups and threw the ball knocking down all three. "Which prize do you want" The guy asked. "The bear with the bow tie" I answered. He took it off the hook and handed it to me and I gave it to Natalie. "Thank you" She smiled widely and pulling me into a hug and giving me a kiss on the cheek leaving me with a huge smile. I held her and we walked around more. "This is our third date this week and this is my absolute favorite" She laughed pushing the hair out her face. "Mines too" I smiled wrapping my arm around her shoulder moving her closer to me. "Thank you Liam for introducing us" she giggled. "Yeah he's a great mate" I chuckled. "We auld go on the ferris wheel" She exclaimed grabbing my hand and dragged me to the ferris wheel.

I gave the man two tickets and we got on the ferris. We sat next to each other and the bear sat across from us. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and she put her head in the crook of my neck. 'just ask her' I thought 'she said it's the best date ever'

The ferris wheel stopped at the top 'perfect timing' "Natalie can I ask you a question" I said. "Yeah of course" she said smiling up at me. "I'm tired of people asking me who you were to me and I don't want to say a friend or we've just gone on some dates I want to aay she's my girlfriend, will you be my girlfriend" I asked. She nodded quickly giving me a kiss in the cheek "finally" she exclaimed excitedly!
