Terminus was an abandoned railroad complex. The place already had walls set up to keep out unwanted citizens from getting themselves hurt on trains that needed maintenance.
Lakota didn't care what this place was. She was just thankful that the man called David Leagues saved her life from whoever shot her. She recalled hearing his name before from Garrett, saying that this man wasn't even a human being in the way he treated people. Lakota kept it quiet that she was from the prison, she wasn't sure she should tell anyone yet.
Mary, the lady that was taking care of her walked in with a plate of food. "Here girly." She said cutely. "I know its not much, but it is slim pickings lately. You better eat up to get your strength back."
Lakota picked up a piece of meat. It is much like the chicken that she would get from a Chinese restaurant, chicken on a stick. She took a bite and swallowed it. It tasted like the chicken as well.
"So why was a cute little thing like you laying out there in the street with a bullet in your stomach?" Mary asked.
Lakota thought about it, she had to be careful what she said to not make this lady suspicious. "I'm from Missouri, a group of us headed out from there. But I'm the only one to make it this far. I was on my own for a while, then suddenly I was hit and I fell down." She took another bite.
"People now of days don't shoot people for no good reason." Mary mentioned. "How was Missouri?"
"Probably the same as it was here." Lakota sighed. "It was crazy all for about two or three days. Then we noticed that less and less people were about. Then it was just us, so we left. We left hoping to get to Washington D.C. My friend heard that there may be a safe zone there that the government set up. But I just kinda lost hope of going there."
"You are okay now sweetie." Mary walked towards the door. Then smiled and turned around one more time before leaving the room. "Everything is going to be fine now, you don't have to worry about a single thing." Then she left the room.

William and Rebecca were practically thrown in a train car. It was one of those brown box cars that he watched go down the railroad tracks back up at his house. The only difference was that there was a big white "C" painted on the side of it.
The inside of the car smelt of mold, and other ungodly scents that came from human beings before them. The boards of the train car barely let in any light from the sun which was out. The two of them felt naked without their weapons by their sides.
Seconds went by, minutes went by, hours went by. The hours felt like days. The two of them didn't speak. They were terrified. For the first time in a long time, there was no way out. They had to deal with what ever shit came through that door. In William's mind, that is exactly what they would do, deal with it and come out on drop like all the other times.
Voices were outside, they could hear them. Having some sort of muffled conversation in the distance, not too far off from the train car that they were in.
"What do we do?" Rebecca finally asked him, her voice shaken, but her spirit was still alive.
"Quiet." William told her as he tried to listen to the conversation in the background.
The door of the train car is thrown open unexpectedly. The two don't have time to react as four men come in and drag them out of the boxcar.
The two are dragged into a building. Inside of the building, two men are by a table, they seem to be cutting body parts with hand saws.
William and Rebecca were then forced to kneel over a sliver trough. All but one of the people that brought them here left. They one that didn't leave began to put ties around their mouths. The tie hurt tremendously, like it was ripping the flesh on the cheek. Soon, three others, two men and one women, were brought in and knelt down by the same trough William and Rebecca were. The same gag was put over their mouths as well. Then the five people were left alone for at least five minutes.
