Me and my best friend loved the movie Forrest Gump. We would would laugh all day when we were younger repeating, "run forrest, run!". That was pretty much it, her and I were goofballs. Well, we still are, but back then we could barely understand a word we said. We just said it because it sounded funny. Thats when my mom asked me if i wanted to play a sport. I said, anything that has lots of running, just like what Forrest Gump does. Thats when my mom suggested track. I said yes and asked if my best friend, Grace could join with me. My mom called her mom, and of course, she said yes, even though she most likely wasn't interested, but both of us knew that we wanted eachother by our sides. A month later spring track started.
