Faith was sitting in her studies staring out the window. The blue sky was growing purple as the sun slowly faded behind the mountains. She sighed as she stood up, her dark blue dress rustled as she did. She turned and stared out of the study. Walking down the long halls of the castle a gentle summer breeze made her long blond hair fluter behind her. Servants ran up and down the halls lighting candelas as the sun dissapeired.

Faith stopped and gazed down at the gates as her two younger brothers came riding through the gates on brown horses. Ridding on the back of her youngest brothers horse was a small turkey. Faith knew she could easily shoot down a bore, but her mother would never approve of such bravery. Faith was to acted as if she was made of glass, even if she was the best archer in the land. Faith walked down to the down the steps to meat with her brothers, Louse and Charles.

"Hahaha, look at how great our catch is!" Charles said with a smug small. "Better then you could ever do, Faith"
Faith turned to him to argue, but right before she could say anything their mother, Queen Jade, came walking in.

"Right you are." she said brushing a blond churl from her face. " My sons are the best hunters in the kingdom. Is that right, Faith?"

"Well..." Faith stared but was cut off by her mother.

"Of cores I'm right. There is no one better then you boys." She said pinching their cheeks.

"Louse and Charles were always Queen Jade's favorite. They were "perfect". They could get away with murder! "thought Hope." And it would be blamed on me."

The small turkey was plucked and prepared. It was surved with dinner. There wasn't even enough to fill Faith. The only thing that kept her from going to bed on an empty stomach was the side dishes. She walk to her sleeping chambers.

After the candelas burned out and every one was a sleep a small light flickered through the castle. The small light flew through the halls and entered the room were Faith was sleeping. Flickering its wings it fluttered around her. Faith didn't move. It flew next to her face and shined as brite as it could. Faith opened her eyes sleepily. She rood over before bolting up and backing agents the wall wile screamed.

The ball of light flew out of the room and came back in. It stopped and stared at Faith. Faith didn't move. The thing looked at her.

"Are you coming?" It said. Faith screamed, but no one came to see what was the matter. " I put every one in a deep sleep."

Faith stopped. "Then why am I a wake? And what are you?"

"Me? Why can't you tell I'm a fairy!" the fairy posed. "My name is Roo. For why your a wake; it just sure luck." Roo laugh.

"Should I pretend to sleep?" Asked Faith

"No, no I am here to give you a qest." Roo posed again.

"No." Faith said calmly.

"What? Oh you mustn't heard me. Hahaha, I've been told I have to speak up. I said...."

"No I heard and I don't wont to go."

Roo's light turned bright red. She garbed Faith's bow and and dashed out the window. Faith grabbed her clock and money, she ran through the castle. Faith heard that fairies loved money. When she took that first step out of the gates were her first steps on her adventer.
