Quick note: I do not own Left 4 Dead nor do I know a whole lot about the plot line. I apologize in advance if anything I say is incorrect and it would help me if you would be willing enough to point out the flaws and assist me in fixing them. Also: this series will contain foul language, gruesome imagery, sexual themes (but probably no lemons), and mature suggestions. Viewer discretion is advised.

Y/N's P.O.V

I bounded down the hallway excitedly, curiosity and fascination gleaming in my eyes. Typically, one would call me crazy for being so excited in a zombie apocalypse, but for me, it only brings more questions that have answers just begging to be discovered. I slid my card in the Hunter containment lab, pushing my glasses (not necessarily reading glasses though. You could be a total intellectual badass wearing awesome sunglasses) higher up on the bridge of my nose as I walked to the glass chamber. A total count of 5 Hunters resided together in one cell, barking and growling in order to communicate with each other. I smiled, knowing exactly who was on top in the pack thanks to the countless hours I studied them. Of course, I never actually poked and prodded at them, only watching and observing. I placed my hand on the glass.
"Hey guys." I smiled when they all turned to me, a loud chatter echoing through as they ran over to where I was. I let my hand drop as I walked over to the computer, preparing to drop in their first meal of the day with a little something extra: the meat contained a serum that would potentially allow them to become more intelligent than they already were accustomed to, meaning that they could end up communicating with us. I opened the chute as their prey scurried inside; the pigs squealing loudly as the Hunters pounced on them. I clicked the end of my pen and began recording their actions, biting my lip when nothing exponential changed. I stayed for a while, watching them do what they usually do. Eventually, someone came in to clean the cage as well as draw some blood for more testing on the cure. I looked at them before I left, my eyebrows raising slightly when I saw them trying to follow me, whining and whimpering as the door closed behind me.
