                   -Chapter 16-

                 Four Months Later

                     (Stevens POV)

    I was called onto set with Chandler and Robert Kirkman. We are auditioning parts for Glenn and Maggie's daughter, Beth. Our characters decided to name her Beth after Maggie's sister who sadly passed away. We were finishing up filming this season before Lauren passes away.

Lauren decided to film this season. Nothing would stop Lauren from filming and I didn't want too. The majority of the girls who we auditioned were decent. Most of them came to see Chandler which really irritated him. We had two more girls to audition. One was named Katie and the other was named Jessa

"Hi! I'm Jessa!" She said cheerfully, while walking into our little audition area.

"Hi I'm Chandler" he said as Jessa snapped at him.

"I know who you are!" Whoa... That was unexpected

"You don't act like the other girls. You're not going insane over me"

"Calm your tits" she said as I chuckled. That was pretty funny I had to admit. "I like you, but I'm not THAT huge of a fan. If it was Lauren or Norman then that would be a different story" she added as I smirked to myself.

"Ouch... Burn" I said while looking at Chandler. When I looked at him I instantly thought of a good question.

"So you're a fan of Lauren?" I asked as she nodded.

"I'm a huge fan! I'm thankful for y'all's stauren babies!" She said with a wide grin.

"Tell us about yourself" Robert said as Jessa nodded

"I have brunette hair and green eyes... Obviously... I have been doing singing, acting, gymnastics, and soccer since I was little. I'm an actual contortionist and I can bend my body in all weird ways. I am also originally from Texas, but moved to England when I was little, then moved to Georgia a year ago."

"That's awesome. What do you mean you can bend your body in weird ways?"

"I can show you" she said and just with that, she did what she said she can do. (A/N - the picture above)

"Wow Jessa. That is very impressive" he said then cleared his throat.

"So... Let's start the lines" Robert said as Jessa smiled.

(Jessa's POV)

"Get away from me!" I shouted as Beth as 'Carl' came closer to me.

"I said get away! Can't you see I don't trust you!?" I spat as I made myself tear up. That wasn't part of the script but I thought it was a good touch. Just then he grabbed my wrists and forced me to look at him.

"Just let me talk to you a little bit"
Chandler as Carl said.

"And why should I let you!?" I screeched as he removed hair from my face.

"Because I love you!" He said as I looked in shock then made my eyes go cold.

"You don't love me! You love Enid! You only said that because you feel sorry for me! You know my mom is upset because my dad hasn't come home in over a week!" I was now screaming as tears poured out of my eyes. The whole room went silent and Chandler struggled to remember his lines.

"I do love you! I dot love Enid and you know it" he said a little softer. He let go of my wrists and put his hand go my cheek and leaned closer. When he was inches away from my face I reared back and slapped him. After I slapped him I just stormed off.

Everyone started clapping as the acting ended. I wiped away my tears as Robert, Steven, and Chandler all smiled at me.

"I think we found our Beth Rhee" Steven said as Robert nodded in agreement. I just smiled as I thanked them and left.

                (Steven's POV)

I came home to my slowly dying wife and saw her cuddling Riley. I smiled at them and kissed both of their heads. I guess Lauren was asleep because she stirred awake and stared at me.

"We think we found a good Beth Rhee" I announced as Lauren smiled at me. The 9 months to live thing was slightly lifted. The chemo and radiation was working and Lauren now has longer. She now has 1 year and 7 months according to her doctors.

My Lauren is getting better, but not much mentally. We had a discussion that the radiation and chemotherapy might make her act differently and forget some things. The cancer spread from her brain to her throat which made it hard for her to swallow. She was in so much pain that it even hurt me, but what hurt the most was what she said to me. I still remember those exact words...

"If I forget anything big or start to act badly different, then I want you to shoot me"

I couldn't do that... Especially not to my Lauren....

Wow... This was a short and really bad filler chapter xD. I'm sorry! It'll start to pick back up! I promise! Oh and for any confusion, Jessa and Chandler are the same age. Sorry if that was confusing!
