A rare calm, strange reflected the face of Ian Morgan.
However hiding the concern of he's interior with great eagerness.
Because nervous or not, his head not ceased to be a complex mess. With so many things to think about. So many ideas, facts, memories, possibilities. In all, one, the most important and relevant. Unbeknownst, to maybe a detail betrayed him at that time.Hes eager walking from one side of the room to the other
So many to do.So many things to discover, create, experiment.
So many things to hide.To the naked eye from some, Ian Morgan could be simply the disheveled genius, and even sexy school teacher.
His attraction was undeniable. Despite a low stature, he would impose power. It was in one way or another. Power transmitting proximity could even feel heavy.
His penetrating blue eyes was a dark and clear deep sea of secrets.
No one dared to hold his gaze for several seconds.Noise distracted he's attention, and eyes that looked at nothing concentrated on finding the source of the sound.
He was not a bad boy.
This man had only one purpose.
Bad decisions made at a bad time extinguished good what Ian had ever known.
A second chance to man kind was more difficult than just pronouncing it, or even thinking about it.
His work, dedication and study had the purpose of finding a cure. Saving the nation. Every great achievement required sacrifice. And this case was no exception. Some would be saved, some would die.
—Sir— called out a serious voice.
—Yeah?— he shook his head, to look at the man from the corner of the eye.
—The captured person died— the man swallowed. He feared as much as a living nightmare.
—What?— He scowled annoyed, moving the head and his body to the address where that now idiot he was.
—He.. Die.. Died..—
—Yes, I heard the first time— he stopped abruptly.
—I thought you were smarter Ryan— blue eyes sought of the man, who was even a little more tall and stocky than the same Morgan
—He was too weak— he tried to justify.
—I don't care— he said —Take me to where he is—
Ryan nodded, and without doubt, leaded the way.
His laboratory was lighted with electricity from huge light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. Ian had improvised in an old abandoned warehouse. Neglected, but with the space for his experiments and tests. The light of the Moon crossed the place through the spaces in the ceiling. If he wanted to, he could not spend maintenance. He didn't want to give a minimum clue, or raise suspicions. It was good as well. Ryan guided him to the "room". At the bottom of the cave, the place more dark, damp and cold. In a room dark and dangerous, laid the lifeless body. It was a young man of about fifteen years. Too young to withstand the tests of Morgan.
He approached with a soft kick on the body.
Another unsuccessful test fail.
—Idiots, can't you do anything right?— He went to Ryan, and three of his men who were in the place.
A slight growl escaped him, and with frustration carved his forehead with his fingers.
He knew that nothing could be done anymore.
A deep sigh was saved.
He tried to not lose control, like the first few times.
—Get rid of the body— he exclaimed firm, retiring from the room.
One of the men looked with pity at the dead boy. It could have been his son. But no one had to have suffered what that young man suffered. Even living was a greater torture for someone so young, who had been left without much to live and learn.
—Why are you guys still standing? I told you guys to get rid of the body. Now!— he demanded in a loud voice.
The men began to move. Ryan staying still at the end.
Ian returned the view to them.
Looking mainly at Ryan.—Hurry on finding the next gen. I can not waste time with your drivel— He said, speaking between teeth, pressing his jaw slightly, closing his fist.
—Ryan— he called.
The blonde man walked to Ian, and immediately his head turned by the fist of steel that hit his cheek so strong, and violently, which made his jaw pop, unbalancing it.
The strength of Ian was impressive.
—Just to see if that serves not to be so stupid the next time—
Ian finally said before he left the room.
