I began staring at the things in his car and tried to find out who this guy is. There's a vintage locket that caught my attention. There was a picture of two young ladies. He entered the car and wraps me with the big blue blanket. The blanket is so thick and warm I just wish I could stay in the blanket forever but the blanket will probably get soak with the damp of my coat and the cold will come again.
"Its mine." he claimed, motioning me to open my coat before the blanket could once again wrap my shivering body.
"Hey, who are these girls?" My eyes focused on the pictures in the locket. I turned around to face him as I examine his facial structure. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that." I rubbed my forehead, guess it might have offend him for crossing the line."Nah, its okay. This is my girlfriend and the lady over here is my mother." he pointed "Oh, you have a girlfriend." I said then he nodded and that was the end of the conversation.
The car drove along the markets and houses as I stare out to the window, out to the cold weather of the world. It reminds me of home. The clouds began to turn dark during the afternoon and soon it was drizzling.
I shiver in the blanket, which is trying to shield me from the breeze of the air conditioner. I felt a movement when I was lying on the head seat facing the window. I see the rain drops rushing down the window as they were racing with each other with every energy they have."Oh, I'm sorry, here, I'll turn on the heat for you."
"Thanks."
Soon, we reach the highway of two lanes, fast lane for the people who likes to speed and slow lane for the people who still want to enjoy life in a slower motion. We were in the slow lane, and there were an uncountable amount of cars on the next side of the lane, I lost count. I lost count of how many cars that enjoyed the speed, the speed of life. A phone rang and snapped me back to reality. I turn my head towards Josh who is pulling over to answer his phone.
"Hey, I'm going to drop by the hospital for a while, not to worry, I just need to bring my girlfriend her lunch."
"Okay, sure."(Top Picture: Josh)
