"Grandpa, will you tell me that story again?" Asked Jimmy.
"Again? Are you sure?" Questioned Grandpa.
'"Yeah, I am sure, I love this story!" Jimmy answered with enthusiasm.
"Ok, fine." Grandpa said with a smile.
"YAYYYYY," Jimmy yelled with excitement. "Time for a story, time for a story!"
"Shush, boy. Unless, you want to go straight to bed." Grandpa said with a smirk.
"Ok, fine." Jimmy said, a little less enthusiastically.
"Here we go," Said grandpa with a heave of breath. "It was back in 2025...."
"I was sitting in a bar called, umm, AppleBee's, and I was eating my good old chocolate pie. Finishing my good ol beer and enjoying my life just a little bit more than usual. I ended up finishing up my meal with a good 25 dollars left than what I arrived with. I walked over to the nearest bus stop, which was a good 50 feet away. After a little bit of time, I finally got to the bus bench and sat down. After not even two seconds of sitting down, I was suddenly blinded by a sudden white flash. After my sight cleared up, a beautiful, dirty blonde woman stood in front of me with a phone in her hand. I was stunned for a moment from her beauty but soon after my movement started up again, she sat down beside me. She greeted herself as Alison and she said that I had some chocolate on my chin from eating that chocolate pie. I stood up at that moment because the bus was coming up the road, and when I went to wipe my chin, she got in front of me enough to get my attention, and she kissed me. I was stunned for a moment but right as my eyesight came back into movement, I noticed the bus wasn't stopping, it was barreling down the road. Right as the bus reached 20 feet away from me, I felt a sudden force from behind me. As I was falling into the road, I remembered Alison and how she wasn't standing in my view after the kiss. She must have been behind me. I fell into the road, and after a good two seconds. I was flat on the road and felt a sudden urge of pain as the bus passed over me. After the bus passed, I looked down at the starting point of my pain. I noticed my legs were crushed from just above the knee. I started pouring tears with the amount of pain I was feeling at that moment. Right as tears were starting to pour, I heard a loud honk in my ear. I snapped my neck to the right and I saw a truck sitting there in the highway. The lights were directly on me and my tears, alone in the street. The door swung open, with the truck still running. A beautiful redhead popped out with a phone in her hands, she was stunningly beautiful. I decided to pour tears no matter the embarrassment I would be feeling at that moment. I decided that if I died, then I would be in God's hands anyway, better to let him choose than me. I decided to look if Alison was still there standing. There was nothing except for a set of fog moving in from that direction. I went ahead and laid back and closed my eyes, only with the memory of that beautiful girl, sirens, and pain. I ended up waking up in a hospital bed. The first thing I saw was that redheads' face. I felt numbness from the waist down.
I tried to ask what happened, but all that came out was, "Wahh hup?"
I saw a smile come up on the redheads' face. "Those are your first words?" The smile on her face got bigger.
I answered with a "surri abut dis." My feelings became worse because I couldn't even talk to the beautiful woman. "Hey, I was needed and I provided help. No need to thank me." Her beautiful smile became a smirk.
I tried to say something about my dog, but it came out like, " Muh duug." I was starting to lose consciousness. The last thing I heard was her voice asking the nurse where my house was so she can take care of my dog. I woke up later on in the middle of the night(I knew it was night time because the curtain was open and I saw darkness and fog). I looked around at my empty hospital room, analyzing escape routes. I tried to get up to walk around but when I tried, I felt a sudden surge of extreme pain. I looked down, and I saw stubs, not legs. I found out I had my voice back whenever I screamed as loud as I could. Apparently there were still people at that hospital at night, because like 5 doctors rushed in, put me back where I was supposed to be and warned me not to do that and left a wheelchair beside my bed. I decided to just lay back down and go to sleep. I ended up waking up with a smile in my face and a sucker. I was happy to see her, I needed a beautiful face after all the pain.
