Peridot's POV

"AHH." I screamed.
"NOOOO, DON'T!" I yelled.

Lapis is chasing me around pointing a paint brush with pink paint on it and she's having a fun time doing it.

"C'mon Peri! You'll look cute in pink!" She said, still chasing me.
"I don't care!" I yelled, running away from her.

I ran upstairs and went to the bedroom, hiding behind the bed.

"Peri~, I know you're here~" She said teasingly.

Lucky for me, I found a water gun under the bed.

"Hah! Feel my unbridled rage!" I said as I squirt water on her shirt.
"Hey! No fair!" She said, throwing the paint brush at me.

But before I could respond, It landed right on my hair.

"NUUUUU!" I said as I ran to the bathroom.
"Heh, You look random." I heard Lapis talk outside the bathroom.

I just grunted and washed my hair.
Fortunately, It wasn't permanent.
Lapis changed her clothes and went to talk to me.

"Where'd you get the watergun?" She said.
"I always have one everywhere." I said.
"Really? Why?" She asked.
"So I'll be able to defend myself in times like this." I said, heading to the now decorated Christmas tree.
"Shall we call the oth-" Lapis said, but got interrupted by the door bell.
"I'll get it." I said, walking to the door.

I opened the door and found our friends waiting outside.
"Hey, Dot!" Amethyst said.
"Mind if we sleepover?" Steven said.
"Please?" Connie said.
"Oh! Right on time. We were about to call you guys." I said, moving over letting them in.
"We?" Pearl said.
"Yeah, Lapis is here too." I said.
"Isn't it too early for her to be here?" Sapphire said.
"Oh, Lapis has been living with me for a couple of months now." I said, leading them to the living room.
"So you two are dating?" Ruby said.
"What? No, we're just friends." I said.
"Pfft. Yeah, right." Amethyst said.

Before I could reply, Lapis came to us pointing her finger above Ruby and Sapphire.

"Look who fell for our trap." She said, giggling.

I knew what she was talking about so I laughed with her.

"What are you two laughi-" Ruby said, staring above them.

There was a mistletoe above them. Just as planned.
Me and Lapis low-fived behind our backs and snickered.

"Hey, you know the rules." I said.
"Hah! Nice one you two." Amethyst said.

We all cheered the word "kiss" except for Ruby and Sapphire.
They were blushing so hard.
But Sapphire decided to end the moment and pecked Ruby as fast as she could then looked away.
The two were silent. So I decided to break the silence.

"Welp, now that's that over... Lets go Party!" As I said that they all cheered and ran everywhere.

We had a lot of fun while waiting till 12 AM to celebrate Christmas.
All of them fell for our mistletoe traps and they all kissed. Except for me and Lapis.

That's until, we fell for their trap.
They actually brought a mistletoe rod and hovered it above me and Lapis.

I stared at Lapis while she stared back. We were blushing so hard, until I broke the tension.
I kissed her for 3 secs and she kissed back. It felt so good, but I decided to break the kiss. Whyyy???

The others all said "Oohh" and I was blushing furiously. So I hid my face from Lapis.

We all continued to party until it stroke 12 AM.
