The ambulance arrived 5 minutes after I called. I had put on my blue sweater and packed Ian's clothes into a suitcase as the paramedic team lift Ian's weak body onto the stretcher. Mom is crying and Aunt Meredith is comforting her. As Ian is lifted into the ambulance, we all followed at the back of the ambulance. The paramedic team puts Ian with a cardiac monitor to check on his heart. Everything was a mess and it was a really intense moment. I just feel guilty that I couldn’t help him with anything. He is still a small kid, suffering like that, I thought to myself, why not me instead. I am the useless child, why not me? We arrived in the hospital 15 minutes later and Ian is rushed to the Intensive Care Unit. We had to wait for the doctors to inform us about Ian's condition and what should be done to help him. My phone vibrated and I excused myself to go outside of the hospital because its the hospital policy to not use phones inside, leaving mom and Aunt Meredith waiting in the waiting room, expecting for the test results to come. It was a long walk to the balcony of the third floor but the phone had to wait. I opened the door to the view of Great Lake Hospital at midnight and see all the streetlights still shining from afar. Cars are still driving around in both lanes, in any road and the street is still busy. Then I remembered that the phone had been ringing three times just now. I looked at the caller ID and it was dad.
  "Hello?"
  "Beverly!" Where are you guys?!"
"Dad, Ian had another seizure. We're at Great Lake Hospital"
I can feel anger in his soul. I took a deep breath before walking back inside but before I could be able to reach the door, the phone started ringing again. I answer it quickly so I would be back to the waiting area as soon as possible.
  "Hello?"
  "Hey."
  "Dean?"
"Im sorry I called, you didn’t reply my message and I've been thinking all day. Im sorry for everything that I put you into"
"Ohh, about that. Im sorry I didn’t... reply your message. It’s... okay"
"Hey.. What’s wrong? Are you okay?" he asked again.
"Uh, Im fine. Dean, im in the hospital right now, my-"
  "What? What hospital??"
  "Great Lake Hospital."
  "I'll be right there."

When I entered the waiting area, dad was there already and both my parents are arguing on a certain matter. I looked at Aunt Meredith and she brings me to the balcony of the third floor trying to distract me from the arguments.
"Its okay, Abi. They've been like that before you moved in. It’s... It-Uhh"
"Sweetheart, whatever happens promise me that you'll take care of yourself. It’s you against the world and no one else. Don’t listen to what your dad says and don’t see yourself as a worthless person. You are more than what you think you are." she comforted. "And I've read your blog, baby." she stated breaking a sweet comforting smile. "Oh no... But thanks, Abi. You always understand me. I love you." I pull her in a warm embrace, full of love which I don’t usually do with mom because mom is always busy, she doesn’t even have time to care and give me a hug, not like Aunt Meredith, who I fondly call Abi since I was a kid.
