At 2am, my phone ranged, echoing the apartment I was supposed to leave. I picked up and it was Josh.
"Bev, i don't know who else to call but there's something wrong at the hospital. I don't know what to do."
"Wait, calm down, Josh, whats going on?"
"Can i pick you up to the hospital? I'm night blind."
"Okay, ill get dressed now. Just be careful on the way here."
"Okay."

When we reached there, there were all these mixed emotions i felt, especially being this panicked not knowing whats going on. Allison's mother stepped out with a pale face and gave us a glance. I knew that look. It was the look that my father gave me once.

"What happened??!" Josh approached her in a shaky condition.
"Her lungs were filled with fluid, she suffered pneumonia. But thhen.. she pulled her needles out herself and asked my... per..mission to return home."
"Wait, she wants to go home?" Josh asked. "Home." She said softly with tears collected in her eyebags. "She passed away just 15 minutes ago."
With that, Josh fell to the ground and we both just sit there silently. Tears started streaming out of his eyes. "Guess she was tired."
