Jungkook always had everything he ever wanted. He was rich after all. He lived in a large expensive house, personal butlers and servants who attended to his every need, what more could he ask for. He sat on his windowsill, staring out into the vast open garden of his home. The sky was slightly bright with a winter-like aura. Despite having everything that anybody would want, Jungkook was missing something. He didn't know how to feel. He didn't know how to love, it was something he had never experienced once in his life. Sure Jungkook wasn't exactly an adult yet, but most people his age has already been through the concept of relationships and felt what could be considered love. He was but a hollow shell with no spark of life within.

He sighed as he left the window and went to his large bed, neatly tidied by the maids of the house. Jungkook glanced at the school uniform laid flatly along the bed's surface. He proceeded to get ready. After finishing up he left his room and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Ah Jungkook dear, come and sit down" his mother called him over.

Jungkook walked effortlessly over to the overextended dining table and sat down as a plate of food was out in front of him. He looked up at his mother who was eating elegantly with her eyes closed. He looked towards his father who was seated at the head of the table, reading a business newspaper.

"The stocks have fallen again" Jungkook's father said behind his paper, sounding slightly aggravated.

"Oh, not again dear! It's the second time it's happened!" his mother whined.

"I know. It's because of how trading is..." His father led on. Jungkook lost interest as his parents continued to speak about important business matters, something he knew he shouldn't ask about. Jungkook just simply continued to eat his breakfast, not paying any attention to the conversation going on in the room. He didn't even notice that his mother had called his name twice.

"Jungkook!" his mother practically shouted. Jungkook snapped out of his daydreaming with a jolt at the volume of her voice.

"Dear pay attention when I'm calling you" his mother spoke, slightly annoyed. Jungkook murmured an apology feeling guilty.

"Now as I was saying sweetie, me and your father are leaving tomorrow" his mother said. The young boy looked up at his parents slightly surprised.

"W-why?" He said with slight worry. He had never actually been on his own before. To the outside, an eighteen year old never been on their own would sound completely out of the ordinary. But to Jungkook, being on his own was something new. He was always in the company of his parents. Sure the house hands were around but he never conversed with them nor them with him. He would have to step out of something he deemed comfortable.

"We are going to a business meeting. A few in fact. They're abroad so we will be away for a few days" his father said directly to his son as he bent his newspaper to see him. Jungkook just stared back at his father. His dark eyes showed the innocence within the young male as they were slightly wide, slightly with fear.

"Nothing to worry about dear. Now finish up and make you way to school. You'll be late otherwise" his mother interrupted. Jungkook finished up his breakfast and grabbed his bag, making his way to the door.

"If you want a ride to school, as one of the house hands to take you" his father said plainly as he returned to his newspaper.

Jungkook opened the door and left. He didn't feel like being driven to school even though his school isn't too far away. He would just have to walk through town to get there.

As he began to make his way here, he immediately regretted his decision to walk. He could feel he chill of the crisp air as the wind slightly blew through him. Without having any warming clothing on, he started to feel the cold.

'Why on earth did I decide to walk!' he screamed at himself as he began to approach town.

As he walked through, slightly shivering, he saw the various shops and other places in the stages of opening. He continued his journey, putting his hands in his pockets and hugging his arms closer in attempt to keep warm.

After a few minutes longer, Jungkook saw that a small coffee shop was open. It was quaint and modern, but still had some classic elegance to it. From the outside it looked refurbished and trendy but within it was like stepping into a different time. Jungkook could feel the heat radiating from within the shop. Without hesitation he ran inside, anything to get out from the morning frost.

As soon as he stepped inside, he noticed that the shop was empty. There wasn't a soul present, most likely because it's just before opening time. He sat down near the window and rubbed his hands while blowing on them, warming himself up. Already he felt much better. As he looked around the empty coffee shop, he was surprised about how he had never seen this place before, probably because he rarely walks to school. He went back to looking outside, looking at the bleak but beautiful white sky.

"One hot coffee" a voice behind him spoke causing him to jump slightly.

The said person played a coffee cup on the table Jungkook sat at. As the young male looked up from the coffee in front him, he saw what some may describe as a living example of an angel. Jungkook took note at how innocent and youthful the male in front of him looked. More accurately, he was taken aback by the man's beauty. Jungkook found himself getting lost within the other male's eyes, there was so much depth to them that it was like a never ending abyss of darkness. His hair was fuzzy in a cute way, almost as if he was a lion but without the tail or the mane. All Jungkook could think was 'Wow, he's...he's...'

"Aren't you going to drink it?" the male blinked at the sitting boy, eyes slightly wide with interest exposing more of his dark eyes.

"Bu-But I didn't order anything?" Jungkook stuttered, slightly stuttering from not paying attention. The other male smirked slightly with playfulness.

"Of course not silly!" the other male giggled. "It's on the house!" the male flashed a rectangular smile. Jungkook thought it looked cute, like the guy himself. It was weird for Jungkook, he never looked at someone like this before. He didn't know how to explain it.

"Um, thank you" Jungkook said quietly. He could have paid for it but he could tell even if he tried, the other male would just refuse his money. Even though Jungkook had only met him a few moments ago, he gain already gain the impression of innocence and kindhearted from this male.

"Anyway I gotta get back to work. Bye!" He smiled the same again sweetly. He turned and left the young male sitting.

Jungkook looked at the watch on his wrist and saw that he needs to leave for school, meaning he would need to go back outside. He shuddered at the thought.

He got up out of his seat and grabbed the coffee. As he reached the door to the coffee shop, he took a sip of from his coffee. He could feel he hot liquid running throughout his hollow frozen core, heating him up from within. As he brought the cup back down, he noticed that it had something written on it. Upon closer inspection he read what it said:

Stay warm. It's cold out. Don't get sick! From Taehyung. P.S. Have a good day! :)

Jungkook blushed at the other male's considerate nature. No one had ever done anything so personal like that for him.

'So Taehyung is his name? Ha, cute name' Jungkook though to himself as he smiled while still staring at the message on the cup. He blushed again thinking about the encounter he has just had with Taehyung and felt some sensation churning within his stomach. He couldn't say what it was, but whatever it was, it made him happy. Suddenly he could see cracks of light appearing through the sky as the sun struggled and fought its way through the clouds. Jungkook could already feel the air heating up from the sun's entrance. He giggled as a response.
'Haha! What are the chances' the young male laughed to himself as he took one more sip and made his way to school.

Unbeknownst to him, a spark had lit within his hollow shell. A spark that would one day erupt into a raging fire of passion. For the first time in his life, Jungkook was feeling something he had never felt before. He felt love, and that was all because of Taehyung.
