Setting: Ash's house on The Last Day of Summer
Ash: *Chillin' on couch when he hears a knock on the front door*
-Gets up and places down acoustic guitar to answer the door-
-Answers door-
Oh, it's you dad. (this phrase is interchangeable with something less formal, or more comfortable)
Gordon: 'It's you'? Don't talk to me like that young man. Were you expecting someone else to come? Myla? Daisy? Some other girl? *says with a condescending tone*
Ash: *Annoyed and sarcastic* No dad. I thought you were an ax-murderer.
Gordon: I don't find it funny Asher.
Ash: Sue me for trying to find the humor in my notoriously absent father showing up to drop some bomb on his son.
Gordon: -Stands still and blanches- Um, the reason I came was to introduce you to your brother.
Ash: MY BROTHER!?
Gordon: Moxie had a son back when she stilled lived in Spain and gave him up for adoption. She finally told me about him and I told her I would take care of him like he was my own. We found him and here he is. Moxie thought it would be best if he stayed here with you, since the twins aren't close to his age. *shouts* Alejandro come here! -leaves house once he realizes Alejandro is inside-
Al: Hey. I prefer Al by the way. I'm really sorry that this was how we met and I definitely will understand if you hate me and want me to get out of your house. -says this due to the pissed expression on Ash's face-
Ash: I'm sorry we had to meet like this too, thanks to my overbearing dad and your mother's stupidity, no offense.
Al: Non taken. I can barely call her my mother.
Ash: Anyway, you're welcome to stay here. Just because I'm my father's son doesn't mean I'd kick you out, I'm not that heartless. Follow me to your room! *says cheekily and fake*
Al: -laughs and follows Ash- Ok 'Asher', *says in a mocking tone of Gordon* What does the school situation look?
Ash: Well, I'm a junior at Beverly Hills High, home to the teenage children of the entertainment world's most wealthy and powerful. And I go by Ash.
Al: *says sarcastically* Seems like you love your school!
Ash: You don't know the half. The school, itself is fine, it's just the gullible administration and power- hungry students that make days unbearable.
Al: Any students in particular that I should watch for?
Ash: No one is worth mentioning other than my ex-girlfriend, Myla, queen bitch of the school, and Skye, my best friend. It goes without saying that you don't mess with Myla. If you do decide to cross her, it won't look pretty.
Skye is the All-American type, Editor of the School Paper and the Yearbook, Team Captain of the Quizbowl Team, Chair of the Prom Committee, and Student Council Secretary with all AP and Honor Classes.
Don't let her *air quotations* "sweet" exterior fool you though, she'll mess you up if you cross her. I remember one time Tom, the school quarterback, thought he could get away with disrespecting her. She punched him so hard he needed stitches.
Of course no one snitched on her and Admin turned a blind eye. She actually gets away with quite a lot due to her involvement in everything. Another time-
