Rydelly

"What?" I ask in shock. I mean we just started talking and he wants me to come over to his house? Already? Ellington seems confused by my reaction and I let the question he asked sink in for a couple of seconds.

His eyes nearly bulge out of his eye sockets.

"OH MY GOD RYDEL!" He exclaims and his cheeks turn pink. "I so did not mean what you thought I meant. I just thought you'd like to come and eat gummy bears while we watch Netflix." His voice quickens as he talks.

Aw, he's cute when he's nervous.

"I mean if you don't want to I get that. I guess I asked too quick and at the wrong time. You could be thinking I'm a weird stalker dude who wants you and-" I put my hand over his mouth and laugh at him. He gets a bewildered look on his face.

At that moment, Rocky's jeep pulls in and I move my hand from Ellington's mouth and his eyes followed mine and watched Rocky get out.

Rocky and I aren't on good terms. We've barely talked the whole time I've been home. I could understand though.

When I left, Ryland was the one crying and begging me not to go because he needs his sister. Rocky tried to comfort Ryland but he failed miserably. I had my phone the whole ride there and Rocky kept texting me things such as 'I can't believe you're my sister' 'You hurt us' and the most important one:

'You ate the last mac and cheese before you left, that hurts'.

Rocky gets out of his jeep with a annoyed look on his face. I'm pretty sure I'm the reason for that.

"Where's Riker?" I question and Rocky rolls his eyes.

Thanks for the answer, brother.

Ellington stands there awkwardly biting his bottom lip. Rocky's eyes landed on my hand in Ellington's and he raises a eyebrow at Ellington. "Who are you?" He asks Ellington and Ellington smiles.

"I'm Beyoncé."

This sent me into a laughing mode and Ellington starts laughing with me. Meanwhile Rocky stands there with a blank look on his face. "Okay then.. Can you just get in the car and so we can go back home, Delly?" Rocky asks me for the first time with my nickname.

YAY RYDEL ITS A RECORD!!!

I let go of Ellington's hand and look at him and shrug. "I guess I'll see you when I see you?" I repeat Ellington's words back to him but in a question tone accidentally. Ellington smiles and nods at me. "Okay."

Rocky and I start walking to the car. I slide into the passenger seat and buckle my seat belt. Rocky's always been a better driver than Ross.

He's the one that scares the hell out of me.

I watch as Ellington starts walking again down the street. I should've accepted his offer. Suddenly, Rocky gets back out of his jeep and yells Ellington's name. What is he doing? Ellington turns back around with a as confused as I am. Rocky pats his car and grins.

"I've seen you before.. You play the drums at that instrument store don't you?" Rocky asks Ellington. Ellington nods slowly not understanding where this is going.

I must admit, I don't see where this is going either.

"Come play with us. I can play guitar, my brother plays bass, your girlfriend can play keyboard." Rocky invites him. I want to tell Rocky that I'm not his girlfriend but the words aren't coming to my mouth.

Plus, I haven't touched my keyboard in like two years or more. I'm pretty rusty. If Ellington watched me, I'd be even more horrible. I'm not good with people watching what I do. Once at a birthday party, I was like seven, I told everyone I could do a cartwheel. Of course when it came up to doing it, I fell as I was attempting and twisted my ankle. Riker had to carry me inside because I was bawling my eyes out. Those were the days.. When everyone loved me.
