Hi! I'm (f/n) kurosaki. I have a brother and two sister plus a dad. I've been a soul reaper for a year and so has my brother ichigo. I try and help him with hollows whenever I can, but most of the time he makes me stay out off fights. Though I know he's trying to protect me from danger, he really needs to back off and let me take care of myself. Most people don't really have a lot of faith in my power but theirs at least one person who recognize my abilities.

Its rukia's brother, Byakuya kuchiki. The one person who had stolen my heart from the first time I meet him entering the soul society while saving Rukia from being killed. He was very cold and emotionless person, who believed the law was more important than the life of a family member. It wasn't until my brother battled him did I realize what he truly was. He was a man who had lost his wife to sickness and had tainted his family's name by marrying a commoner like her. He had made two contradicting vows; one was to his parents stating he would uphold the law while the other was a promise to his wife to find and protect her younger sister.

It it showed in that moment that he and I were exactly the same. I had made a promise to myself that I would never rely on others to fight my battles and that I would never let another person suffer the same pain I had gone through when my mother got murdered by a hollow. I never realized that extent of the vows I had made and how they would conflict with my judgement on the battle field. Byakuya had shown me to fight against laws, promises and vows and to follow a path of my own instead of one paved for me.

~a day before Valentine's Day~

"Ugh! This is hopeless! I'll never find a gift perfect for your brother Rukia!" I say in frustration as we exit from the store in the mall district. "Chin up (f/n)! I'm sure whatever you get Nii-sama will love it" said rukia smiling. "Thanks Rukia. I appreciate you coming along to help." I say walking into another store with her.

Rukia had offered to help me find a gift for Byakuya to give to him for Valentine's Day, which happened to be tomorrow. So we grab our purses and shoved off to karakura mall in the search of a perfect present. So far we had been in at least five stores total and I had come up empty. It was already the afternoon and only a limited amount of time to get a gift before tomorrow.

"Oh, how about this for brother?!"exclaimed Rukia I turned around to see her holding a small stuffed bunny rabbit with white and black spots. "I don't think Byakuya is much of a stuffed animal kind of person and besides he's way to serious and regal for things like that." I say turning back to some of the necklaces in a display case. " I guess your right. Ni-sama isn't very interested in stuffed toys." Said Rukia as she put the little bunny back on the shelf and searched some more.

"May I recommend anything?" Asked a voice. I looked up from the case and saw a young women with light brown hair and blue eyes wearing a brown dress suit smiling at me. "Oh...Uhhh, I'm looking for a gift to give to a crush...he's into cherry blossoms." I say blushing. "Well, I think I might have just the thing." She says taking on of her keys and opens one of the cases and pulls out a necklace.
