"So, I'll pick you up at 5:30 then?" Brent asked from the other side of the line.
"Depends on you," I said.
"Okay 5:30. Be ready." He hung up on me. "I love you," I said, just right after he hung up.
"This one or this one?" Natalie said jumping right in front of me showing me two different necklace. "That one," I said pointing at a shining diamond necklace. "Omg I can't believe today's the day!" I said, throwing my phone to the bed and jumping up and down in excitement. "I know! So now get dressed." Natalie said with a bit of sarcasm. I picked my gown, yes a gown, not a minion mascot. So, I picked my gown, which was neatly laid on my bed by mom.
I stepped in my room and saw Natalie also in gown, but it was black. "Why black?" I asked, laughing. "I'm portraying Wednesday Addams, kinda, but in a girly way." She said arranging her bridal bun. "So, Cinderella huh?" She asked, smirking. "Yuh kinda," I said, not satisfied with my look. "Darling," My mom said knocking on my door. "Come in mom," I said fixing my gown and faced her. "Just a tiny bit," She said wiggling her brow and gave me a red velvet box. "It's from your grandma," She said, whilst I opened it. As I opened it, a necklace with a blue crystal was in it. "Oh mom, thank you," I said giving my mom a big hug. "Let me put it on," She said, taking the necklace from hand and started attaching it to me. I stare myself at the mirror and said, "Now Im satisfied."
Natalie and I waited in my living room watching Fuller House. "You're here?" Natalie said, answering the phone call which I assume was from Nathan, my brother, who's currently at Brent's house. "They're here," She said grabbing her purse and stood up. We went out and our ride was there, a sleek black limousine. "Since when did they have time to rent one?" I elbowed Natalie, looking amazed at the limo. The driver got out of the car and opened the car for us. "Thank you," I said, getting inside and there he was, sitting on the other side where Nathan was sitting, arms wide open, jaw dropped when he saw me. "You look good," He said, patting the empty space beside him. "Just good?" I asked hitting him with my purse. "You look amazing." He said giving me a brother hug.
"So, when did you guys have time renting a limo?" Natalie asked.
"Two hours ago," Nathan replied, laughing.
"Really?" I said laughing and looked at Brent.
"Really." He said, grabbing my hand and looked at the ring that he gave. "Never loose this," He said, lifting my hand up to his lips and giving it a small peck. "Never," I said shyly.

We arrived at the school and proceeded at the gym. "ID's please." The guard ask every single student who was attending the dance. We showed our ID and went inside the gym. It's magical. Smoke all over the room and it was dark, spider webs. A nerd couple wore a breakfast costume which was worth a laugh.
There she was, the girl that I don't want to see, walking towards us. "Cinderella, huh?" She asked. "No, sleeping beauty." I said sarcastically and faking a smile. "Ha, so funny." She gave me a hug and approached Natalie, "Wednesday Addams?" She asked, smiling. "Yes, the one and only." Natalie said, smiling at her. I grabbed Natalie and settled at our table which was in front of the dance floor.
"Do want anything?" Brent asked from my back.
"No thanks," I replied, bothered.
"Okay then, be right back." He said giving me a peck on the cheek.
"Booze?" Natalie asked giving me a glass of booze. "Is this really Booze?" I said, smelling at the drink. "But this is not allowed here." I said giving the drink back to Natalie. "Do you really think a bunch of teenagers will party without any boozes?" Natalie said, taking her phone out of her bag. I ignored Natalie's answer and looked for Brent. I turned my char around, adjusted my eyes but he was no where. "Natalie, do you know where Brent is?" I asked, still looking for Brent. "I saw him went out of the gym," She said. I grabbed my purse and went out of the gym. "Brent!" I called his name at the empty school hallway. I took my heels of and run towards the empty field. "Brent!" I called out his name one more time. There he was, sitting on the bleachers. "Why are you here?" I asked walking towards him. As I got closer, I can see him perfectly. He was sitting on the bleachers with a Jack Daniels bottle, crying. Sobbing.
"Hey, what happened?" I asked, sitting beside hm.
"I thought I can handle it," He said, taking a sip of the bottle.
"What are you saying?" I asked, taking the bottle from him.
"I thought I can handle it, being here, again. On the exact same day, but it was two years ago." He said, still crying.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, once again. My eyes in contact with his teary eyes but he looked away.
"My sister," He said.
"What about her?" I asked worriedly, as if I knew the answer to the question.
"My sister died, on this exact date, two years ago. On this exact celebration," He said, his eyes locked to the ground. "It was my fault, I was the one that drugged her. I was the one who brought the Boozes." He said, now looking at me. Without me knowing, I started crying. "Emily," I murmured to myself. "Emily," I said once again, now crying.
"It was my fault why she died, I didn't knew she had a drink. She drank a lot. She was overdosed," He said, looking at me. "I don't know how I can forgive myself." He said, grabbing my hand.
"What was her name?" I asked, faced to the ground.
"Emily. Emily McCall." He said looking at me. "You should never forgive yourself." I said, getting up from the bleachers and throwing the Jack Daniels bottle to the ground. "NEVER!" I shouted and run towards the parking lot where the limousine was. "Take me to the Memorial Cemetery." I said opening the door and sat at the front sit. "Yes ma'am." He said, driving.
Two Years Ago
"Omg Mae, I'm so excited for the Halloween Dance." Emily, said jumping up and down while I grabbed my books from my locker. "So, a while ago, Mr. DJ told me I had an amazing essay and I should start thinking about being an author." I said slamming my locker door and faced Emily who was interested, just because I mentioned Mr. DJ's name who's our hot English Teacher. "So what's this essay about?" Emily asked wiggling her brows. "Is it about someone?" She asked. "No, it was about my family." I said, disappointing her. "Well I should read that essay," She said, stopping in front of her locker. "You should write a book about me," She said out of the blue. "Im serious." She added, looking at me with what she called her serious look. "Okay I will," I said giving her a big hug.
"When she said I'd write her a book I didn't thought of reading it here, in front of people. People who cared and loved her and to the people who'll never know how good she was. To my dear friend, to my sister, I love you and I promise to myself I'll never forgive the person who did this to you." I said finishing my last words. I stepped out of the podium and run towards her coffin, hugging the coffin one last time. "I love you Emily, my sister." I said kissing the coffin, "Soon, will be together." I said, finally sitting back beside her parents.
**
"Hi Emily," I said, sitting down on the grass, lighting a candle and cleaning her tombstone. "It's been a long time. You never told me you had a brother. I think I love your brother, but you know whats the sad part? I think he was the one who did it to you. I miss you so much Emily, I need you here. Natalie and I need you here. I can't believe it's two years. You missed a lot." I said wiping my tears. "You know what, lets stop with the drama. I have something to tell you, My Dad has a girlfriend, and eighteen year old girlfriend. But he's happy with her so it's okay. I still can't believe it. I miss you so much Emily, I miss you so much and I will always love you." I said kissing my three fingers, the ring finger, middle finger and my index finger and touched her tombstone. "So yea, I'll visit you soon? I just need to go back to my house and change." I stood up from the grass and waved at her tombstone good bye. "I miss you," I said to the cold air and proceeded to the limousine.
