CHP1:HORRIBLE NIGHTMARES

*twelve years after,chapter five of part one*

Adam was running down the alley, angry and petrified, he was running from something. But, what was he running from? Adam wasn't wearing a shirt, his pants we're unzipped and he was panting heavily from exhaustion, he also sway from side to side almost passing out. "Adam-chan, come and play with me" said a voice from behind him. "Leave me alone!" Adam managed to scream at the person behind him. "But I'm not satisfied yet, and besides I want to hear you scream out my name again" It responded with an evil laughter. Adam kept running, "Come on, Adam" said the voice, "We both know you can't run forever, you must be exhausted" said that voice, with fake sympathy. "I-I'll never stop r-running" Adam said, panting heavily, "I-if it means I can get away from you!" He said. Adam kept running, /Oh no!/ he thought, /Dead end!!!/ He stopped at the wall. "Shit!" He cursed loudly, he was about to run back, but he was pinned onto the wall by the stranger, who was not a stranger to Adam, it was Black Mist, the man who caused so much pain and agony to Yuma, was now causing pain to Adam. "Please...let me...go" he was able to stutter out. "Shh, calm down Adam, this will only hurt a bit..." He said, as he caressed Adam's face and neck, making him shudder. "Please.." Adam said quietly, trying to get out of his grasp. "Don't fuss, it'll only make it hurt more..." He said,while pinning him down harder. "No please!!!" Adam yelled, holding back tears. "Adam!" Yuma yelled, shaking his son's shoulder multiple times to awake him, but it did not work, the nightmare Adam was having was probably to traumatic. "Adam!" He yelled again, "please...don't....hurt me....!" Adam yelled in his sleep. Yuma's eyes widened, he was panicking in his mind, trying not to wake the girls, (who were probably already awake due to Adam's screams). Adam was tossing and turning on the bed, his hands were clenched into fists, sweating and panting heavily, and was moaning some of his words, that could barely be heard by Yuma. Shark rushed into the room, "What's wrong with him?" Shark asked Yuma, who kept shaking Adam's shoulder. "I-I don't know" Yuma answered quietly. All the sudden, Adam stopped moving, both of his father's looked at him, fear and worry in their eyes. After a few seconds, he started to breath normally again, he opened his eyes at a halfway point. "...Dad?" Adam asked. "Yes?" Both asked at the same time. "I-Im sorry" he said, "What?" Yuma asked, before he could respond Nagisa came into the room, Tyler with her. "Are you ok, big brother?" She asked, "I-I think so" he said. Tyler walked up to her brother, "hey pretty girl" he said, which made her giggle. "Are you ok?" She asked, he shock his head. She gave him a confused look."I just need a hug, from my little sisters" he said, pouting like a little kid. Nagisa nodded approvingly, Tyler giggled, but before she could get into her brother's arms, Yuma grabbed her shoulder. "I think we should let Adam rest" he said. "I think we should all go to bed" Shark said, Yuma nodded, "It's two in the morning" he added. Nagisa and Tyler gave them the puppy eyes, "Daddy can we please stay with Adam?" They said, to Yuma, who looked away, "Ahh! The puppy eyes!" He said, "Shark!" He whined, "A little help!" He said, "There you daughters, Yuma, you can handle this!" He said as he was about to walk out of the room. "Don't leave me alone!" He said, "I gave birth to them, but it was you who helped make them, so you deal with it" Shark said. Yuma's face became bright red, the girls giggled, Adam smirked as he stood up on the bed. "They can stay here if they want to, dad" he said. "Are you sure?" Yuma asked, as Adam took Tyler into his arms. "Yup, I can handle it" he said, with a huge smile. Yuma sighed, "OK" he said and walked out the room. All three children, went to sleep on the bed. Adam had his arms around Nagisa, Nagisa had Tyler in her arms. "Goodnight, Nagisa and Tyler" Adam said to both of the girls. "Good night big brother" both girls said. After a few minutes, Tyler and Nagisa fell asleep, "sleep well both of you" he whispered, then fell asleep.

Adam awoke in the morning, he was surprised to see that both girls were nowhere to be found. Adam got up from the bed and looked around for them, then heard giggling from the kitchen. He smirked /Their awake/ he thought, "Good morning" he said as he was standing at the end of the staircase, headed toward the kitchen, not noticing Nagisa behind him. "Good morning, big brother!" She said as she jumped on him from behind. Adam yelped out of surprise, but then smiled. "Good morning to you to" he said. She giggled, "Daddy is making us breakfast" she said, "which one?" He joked, he new perfectly well that Nagisa was talking about Yuma, the only one she calls 'daddy', she calls Shark, dad, but she only calls him daddy, when she really, really wants something. "Adam!" She whined, "ok, ok" he said. They went into the living room, "Tyler, what do you want for breakfast?" Yuma asked, his daughter, who was like Shark's clone. "Pancakes!" She said joyfully, "Ok, pancakes it is" he said and went to the fridge to go get the ingredients for the batter. "Morning" Adam said as he walked into the dining room with Nagisa behind him. "Good morning, big brother!" Tyler said, her dark blue eyes flashing happiness. "Hey pretty girl" he said as he raised her into her arms. "Did you sleep well?" He asked, she nodded, "Though when me and Nagisa woke up, we couldn't get out of your grasp, big brother" she said smiling cutely. "Huh?" Be said while making a confused face, Nagisa nodded, "Yeah it was like you were trying to protect us from something" Nagisa said. "Yeah, so?" Adam said as he shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal. "It's cute when someone cares about you so much" Nagisa said as she took Tyler from Adam's arms. "You think so?" Adam said, both girls nodded, causing Adam to give them a small smile. "I think it's cute too" Yuma said while walking into the room, causing Adam to jump up in surprise. "Dad!" He said, "Where did you come from?" Adam asked while looking at Yuma who smiled. "From the kitchen, silly" Yuma said, as he gave Adam a big hug, which Adam quickly pulled away from. Adam smiled in a goofy matter, "Oh" he said, face flushing in deep embarrassment. All of them burst out laughing (well except for Adam), "Hey!" He whined, "That wasn't funny!" He fumed. "Well it seems like all of you are having fun this morning" Shark said as he walked into the room. "Dad!" Adam said in happiness as he heard his 'favorite' father's voice. "Good morning to you too, buddy!" Shark said as he pulled Adam into a hug. Adam laughed as Shark started to ruffle his hair, causing it to end in a spiky mess. Yuma felt a small pain in his heart, as he watched his husband and his son, he and Adam never had a close relationship like Shark and Adam had. Yuma let out a small sad sigh as he started to make the batter. He closed his eyes and thought back....
