After Zeref's War

Chapter 1

Natsu's POV 

   "Natsu!" Lucy yelled. 

   I looked over and saw her. She walked over to me and handed me a piece of paper. I looked at it. It was a new job for me and her to complete. 

   "We haven't been on a job since the war with Zeref and all his nine demons." Lucy explained to me.

   "Yea, and we totally kicked their butts at it too..." I said.

   Lucy smacked me in the head and I read the paper. We have to burn an old statue for Sting. The award is $25,000. Hmm... I door see why we have to do this, but if it means I get to set things on fire, then I'll do it. 

   "Ok, let's go!" I said nearly running out the door. 

   I stopped and looked around. Lucy and Gray looked at me confused.

   "Hey, where's Happy?" I asked.

   I found him on the other side of the guild hall on the ground beaten. Lily was on top of him. I ran to Happy and held him. I sudden felt an urge of anger towards Lily. I ran to Gajeel and started yelling at him. 

   "Hey Gajeel! Maybe you should watch where your cat is going, you iron dragon freak!" I yelled. 

   Gajeel turned around and looked me straight in the eyes.

   "What did you just call me?!" Gajeel yelled. 

   "An iron dragon freak. So? What are you gonna do about?" I asked. 

   "I night just knock your teeth in, dragon boy." Gajeel said angerly. 

   "You wanna fight, bring it on." I said. 

  Me and Gajeel nearly ripped each other apart. Erza stopped us. Both of us liked at her.

   "Natsu, you better get on that mission and yours.. and Gajeel... leave Natsu a lot and control Lily." She said walkinh off. 

   I grabbed Happy and me and Lucy ran off to complete our job. It's didn't take that much time at all. Soon Sabartooth payed us and we were back at the guild hall in no time. Gray looked at us. 

   "Well, that didn't take y'all very long." He said.

   "All we had to do was burn a freaken statue, you'd probably just freeze it." I said.

   Gray and I started to get in a fight like we always do. 

   "You saying a can't break a god forsaken statue?" Gray asked.

   "I'm just saying... you're not a fire wizard like me." I said.

   Ezra pulled us apart and that was the end of it.
