Family .vs. Friends {31}POV: Sang Sorenson
Media: Let It Go by James Bay-
Happy Easter everyone!!!!

I was just tired by now.
First they corner me-actually no first, I see Kota and Amber all cuddled up....okay well not cuddled up but they were close enough, and then I these guys walk in and all 7 of them are texting my phone nonstop making it vibrate in my grip. I'd had to remove it from my bra, not caring if Mr. Saxon saw it and said something, because the vibrating on my chest began to feel uncomfortable.
Sitting here now, I couldn't help but feel more like an outsider. They all-even Amber-seemed to know what was going on and what they were supposed to do when it happened. I, on the other hand, was wondering how my followers were getting along.
I wasn't walking the halls, but they were going easy on me with all of the texting and calling for help too.
Mr. Saxon was writing dates on the board in the form of a time line and leaving some spaces with question marks. Most of the others were writing but Luke was balancing a pencil on his nose-seriously, I don't know why but I became fascinated with it. He moved his head the slightest amount every now and then to balance it back whenever it seemed to tilt a little to one side. It was the oddest sight, but interesting all the same. The door opened and Mr. Hendricks came in, a passive look on his face as addressed Mr. Saxon "You don't have a class this period." It was a statement. "Why are all of these students here?"
Mr. Saxon seemed to take Mr. Hendricks' rude tone in his stride and only replied "These students asked for extra help with an assignment I've given out and I'm making sure that they understand the curriculum before letting them loose on the poor librarian."
It was a plausible and well-spoken excuse. But completely unnecessary when it came to Hendricks, something I guess their precious Academy didn't pick up on.
Hendricks turned to me with one eyebrow raised, and I leaned back in my seat reminding myself to keep my face impassive. Hendricks was like a fat bird, it just kept eating and eating until finally it couldn't take anymore. You would think it would just burst form all the eating. But nope, it just threw it up and then went back for more. On second thought, maybe he was more like those people form the Hunger Games that drank the special beverage so that they could continue eating. Either way, Hendricks was a real piece of work.
But, from where I stood, he knew his place in Ashley Waters just as myself, Rocky, and Greg did. As many 1s had before us. As many probably will after us.
"What do you want, Hendricks," I
spoke up.I could see a few heads turn towards me, barely hiding their nosiness. Saxon turned to continue writing on the board and even started flipping pages in a textbook but his movements were exaggerated enough that I could tell he was listening closely to what was being said.
I also noticed North's phone out in his hand, though his hand was massive enough to cover it, and the microphone part conveniently unblocked by anything. The screen was black but I would bet money that either Dr. Green, Mr. Blackbourne, or both were on that phone listening in somehow.

**Flashback Begins**
I was in Biology class, I'd made it late because I was helping out some followers and following up on a few leads of my own. For some reason, my seat was taken when I arrived though.
Black hair flowed and swayed as the girl it was attached to giggled and talked animatedly to the giant behind her.
She was in my seat now???
Brown eyes looked up--briefly--and caught mine before her hand reached out and ran through his hair. The touch seemed to linger and he didn't fight her off either.
Turning, I stomped out of the classroom ignoring the teacher and decided I was tired of letting things happen to me.
As I maneuvered the halls, I caught sight of those stupid petitions stuck to lockers and already overflowing bulletin boards. "Marie Sorenson for 1" it read in bright bold red letters.
What hurt the most was that each of the 3 lists I could see right now had at least one page full of signatures already.
Again, I was tired of letting stuff happen to me.
It was time to make some stuff happen, I thought as i growled and snatched the petitions down crumpling the paper and tossing it on the floor.

*Flashback Ends**
---Fine. They all wanted to be in the Rank Rivalries so bad, then I'd bring them in.
And they'd see just why I've fought so hard to do right by my followers. Why I've done all I could to keep them from going any deeper into the double R's. And why they were only ruining themselves by pushing to be more involved.
I wanted them to just let it go. For them to just be themselves and let me be me; for them to do whatever they came here to do, and go back to their Academy. I didn't want them messing with my mind, my heart, my life. But my mind wouldn't let them go. My heart wouldn't let them fade. And my life seemed like it would never be stable anyway, so how much damage could these guys do really?
"Hendricks, I think its time we talk business."
He simply stared at me a moment before getting that slimy smile and saying "I knew they were helping you out somehow. You'd never talk business in front of someone who was just a follower. They can't all be 2s, besides have you dumped Winchester....No...no I dont think so. So what is it? What possible reason could you have for wanting to discuss 'business' in front of them.. ."
I smirked trying my best to not let him or them see my shaken.
"Business then pleasure Hendricks. Let's start with why you have a one way ticket to the Bahamas waiting for you right now at the airport, and why you've been sitting in your office checking your phone and bank account continuously for the past 2 hours." What are you up to dickhead?
