This book is a bout a 14 year old girl (Kara) who loves riding horses with her cousin (Elyssa) who is like her bestfriend and her other friends.Throughout rodeo season she goes through a lot of drama and trouble with friends and family.

The trailer pulled into my Aunt Kiki's driveway as the other horses holler in excitement to see a new friend arrive.
I had just got my very first horse, Joe, for my birthday and I already loved him to death.
I didn't really know how to ride so my aunt said she would teach me.
When I released Joe in the paster the other three horses,Bull,Kati,and Piper chased him around and Bull bullied him.Joe then realized to stay away from him haha.
*2 months later*
I had gotten really good at riding Joe anywhere even the barrels so my aunt let me ride Bull and Kati.
Bull is really lazy and he is a roping horse so he did the pattern slow but he learned it immediately.Kati is really flinchy sometimes but she is easy going and really fast. I rode Piper every now and then but she was a fat but beautiful red roan. She was everyone's dream horse.
I dont really like riding alone because it's not as fun so my cousin Elyssa started riding Bull with me.
She was also promised to learn how to ride but my aunt only really taught her how to get on and trot.
I had fun teaching her to lope and tack up even tho it was hard to help her on the barrels she has it now. My aunt doesn't really let me and Joe practice the barrels. I got mad at that because rodeo started next weekend!
*next weekend*
My aunt,Elyssa and me pull up to the sound of horses hollering and girls kicking and shouting.
Our horses are all tacked up so we get on to warm our horses up and hang out with my friends. My bestfriend JoDee doesn't ride horses but she came for support and my other bestfriend Victoria barrel races and pole pends on her horse blaze. She is worried about competing when me and Elyssa are only allowed to do exhibitions which are just practice runs. When I barrel race I have fun with it but it seems Victoria takes it as a very serious competition.
At 6:30 is when most of my family arrove and the exhibitions were just starting. Me and Elyssa are only allowed two exhibitions by my aunt.
The announcer said "Kara Cohenour ride when you ready". My heart sank. I had no idea if Joe would even go into the arena without another horse because he is very alley way sour and buddy sour. Joe gave me trouble and so we went in circles and then finally we got in the arena and did our business then came out. Elyssa was next you could tell she was nerves to buy I told her not to be because the Bull would take advantage of her.She goes nice and slow into and out of the arena she did wonderful even tho we both had to go really slow. I was ready to run even tho I couldn't which made me even madder it's like my aunt thinks she the boss of us. My next exhibition I went a tad bit faster and looped out. I heard my family and friends scream for me. Elyssa's next turn I was screaming and hollering for her. Later that night I watched Victoria run Blaze she didn't do to good and she come out crying,mad and didn't want to talk to anyone. She lost to her "enemy" Hannah MaCann that's why she was upset. I got sick and tired of her always wanting to win instead of having fun. I was a good friend to her she was like my sister and I had to talk to her but she was ignoring everyone. She walked off on Blaze with everyone following her behind. I got mad and told everyone to please leave so I can talk to her.
I said,"Victoria why are you so mad you lost? Yea blaze tripped and fell down but you both come out ok. You need to start paying attention to just you and your horse but your worried about showing off and beating Hannah instead of having fun with it."
Victoria looked up and said your right but I'm still upset.
Later throughout rodeo season I stopped being friends with Victoria because I was supposably her "best friend" but she took her boyfriend over me and at her house she left me out twice. We barely talk now and at the rodeo she rolls her eyes at me like I'm her new compitition and she never took my advice but Idc I'm over being her friend I have a lot more better friends.
Also I don't talk to my aunt anymore because she became a real buttface and kicked my horse off her property because her and my mom got into it.She also told Elyssa she could never ride her horses again which made me hate her because my horse has no where to stay and my cousin can't ride anymore.
I hate missing rodeos but because of her I now have to miss the rest of rodeo season.
My horse is staying at a friends i will only be able to see him and ride him there.
Since I never really discribed Joe here you go: He is a very sweet 14yr bay gelding. He is like a big teddy bear and loves to be rubbed and he loves giving kisses and respect.He loads to a trailer he is used to and loves bathes!😄
He is my baby and I love him.

Here's an update on joe:
He is still really healthy and fat also a sweetheart, we have gotten so far right now we are first in 4D!!! Still haven't ran him full speed but we are getting there! Thanks guys😘
