Was all I could think in my head. It was so damn cold outside so I'm walking really fast to get this over with. Just when I was thinking about what to get from the store, I heard a small meow coming from in front of me. I looked down and saw the cutest black cat I've ever seen in my life. "Oh my god I freaking love cats.." I said. I quickly looked around to see if I was alone. Don't want people to think I'm standing out here in the cold talking to myself. Just then, the cat started walking across the street, adjacent to the store's block. It's like the cat wanted me to follow it.

I hope some scary shit doesn't happen to me.

I started following the cat like a dumbass. I just wanted to know what it wanted to show me. I've got time considering I'm just home alone doing nothing. As I'm following the cat, I start to hear heavy foot steps behind me. I turn around and see a guy kinda speed walking. He looked like the stereotypical "guy who lives in his parents basement". He looked around 40, was heavyset, had on thick glasses, a messy stubble, and looked about 5'5. The weird part of it all was that he was wearing a big black sweater with a cat on it and he had cat ears on his head.

If this guy could hurt someone, then I'm freaking Kim Kardashian

I laughed to myself and went back to following the cat. Then I heard a raspy voice saying, "My lovely kitty Kat.." I started to turn around but was stopped in my tracks by a napkin being put over my mouth. I screamed but the napkin made it almost inaudible. At that moment, everything started going hazy... All I could think was, "Why me?" Then, there was darkness...

"Good work Midnight. You're going to get an extra treat for helping me out." The heavyset man said as he looked at the black cat. "Meoow." Was all the cat said. "I know I know we have to get going. Time to introduce the newest addition to our family.."
