My mother's soft voice rang through the phone into my ears.

"He's dead... Troye he's dead." My mother's voice was filled with pain and agony. My grandfather was dead. He was the man who had to raise me for years while my mother was in prison.

I never had liked my mother much, her being a drug addict and being arrested several times due to drugs she wasn't my favourite person in the world. As time went on, attending several rehabilitation centers, she got clean. She feels like a mother now.

But while she was away for that time, her father, my grandfather raised me. He was the most important man in my life, without him I would've been given to an orphanage, seeing as my father was already dead.

My mother's voice came back on the line, I forgot she was there for a moment. "The funeral is going to be held in Riverview, I'm assuming you want to come, so get your plane tickets." She hung up. I could tell that she could barely formulate words at the moment, so I didn't bother to be angry for the fact that she was being bitter.

Now for the plane tickets.

I landed in Tampa, not being able to go directly to Riverview seeing as it didn't have an airport. The airport was filled with couples, and people coming home to other people. Meanwhile I was here, coming to this state with nobody, merely the thought of my grandfather's voice ringing in my head. I hadn't seen him in a while and I sure wasn't expecting that to be the last time. It had been a few months, I would visit him at his home every so often.

Not looking where I was going, I bumped into a man. He was a bit taller than me, but only by an inch or so. His eyes were a pale semi-bright green colour, mixed with a grey colour, and his hair was brown.

"I'm sorry," I whispered as he stepped out of the way and I continued on to meet up with my mother.

"Troye!" I heard her voice and turned around, seeing her at the moment, happy face as she hugged me. Her happiness quickly turned to sorrow, noticeably.

"Hi mom." I murmured to her. Together we trudged to the car, not saying another word.
