Chapter 12
Blake’s POV: (2 months after graduation)
Life couldn’t get any better. I graduated from Harvard with a business degree. My girl is a hottie and a model. There’s one problem though. I looked at another girl. When I say looked, I mean flirted and ask the girl out. Yes I’m doomed. Rose doesn’t deserve what I did. But I couldn’t help it. Victoria was so hot and tempting.
I walked into the flat that Rose and I shared. She was there, sitting on the sofa reading a book. She looked beautiful but I needed to do this. “Hey Blakey!” She greeted me happily and stalked towards me. She was about to kiss me when I stopped her. “Blake? What’s wrong?” Her innocent eyes looking up at me confused. “Rose, we need to talk.” Her eyes grew wide as she sat on the couch.
Anna’s POV:
“Rose, we need to talk.” Those words are the words that I dread the most. I knew that he’s been seeing a different girl. I knew this day would come. “Was I not enough? What’s with her that I don’t have? I gave you everything, love and care. Blake. What does she have that I don’t?” My voice came out so soft I didn’t think he’d heard me. “What? How’d you know that? Look Rose, I’m sorry. I guess it’s just not for us.” He said looking down at me with an apologizing look.
“I’m not naïve Blake. Not like I used to be before. I’m not stupid as well. I guess I really wasn’t enough. Please, get out. Thank you for everything.” I said while tears fell down my cheeks.
I heard his footsteps slowly fading and the door open. “I never meant to hurt you, Rose. I love you. Just not the way that I used to. I’m sorry.” He said. I kept my head down and I heard the door close.
He was gone forever. I lost the only man that’s ever made me feel this way. I thought he was my forever but I guess I’m wrong once again. I loved him. God Dammit. I loved him.
(5 years later)
Anna’s POV:
“Anna!” my assistant, Luke screamed for my name. This action made me come out of my reverie. “What is it Luke?” I asked grabbing my camera from my desk. “Photo shoot for Grey Marketing & Advertising department at 4.” He went through my schedule for the day. “Yes well, I’m leaving for a while. I still have 5 hours ‘til that photo shoot. I’m having lunch with my girls.” I told him.
My phone rang just before I could grab my car keys. “Hello?” I asked the person on the other side on the phone. “We’re going to Vegas this week. WE won’t accept no as an answer.” Ah, my all too famous best friends. Without them I wouldn’t have been able to cope with the stupid break up 5 years ago. “No can do Paige, Karen and Kate. I have work this weekend.” I told them. They whined, “That’s always your excuse! I hate it. We already got a sub for you.” Paige said. A sub? “A sub? I’m the boss. How can I have a sub?” I asked clearly amused with this situation. “A sub photographer. Now pack a bag. Vegas BABY!” they screamed all together. My ears burned with such loudness and I ended t
