Corrupted

The Beginning

On that fateful day, a cry of a baby echoed in one hospital room bringing smile to the parent's face.

A healthy baby boy was crying loudly as he was cuddled by a blonde man sitting beside a hospital bed where a brown-haired woman was lying and cooing at his husband and new born son.

"You're name will be Tsuna. Sawada Ietsuna," the man said and as if understanding what his father said, the boy stopped crying and smile.

Despite the happy scene of the family, the doctor watching the couple is frowning. Something is missing or rather someone is forgotten.

The baby isn't born alone, they were twins. The younger of the two though is just quietly sleeping on the doctor's arm, innocent of the neglect of his own parents.

"Excuse me Sawada-san, here is your other son," the doctor said and presented the fragile little body of the baby.

"That one survived?" a question that caught her off guard. 'That'? The father, Sawada Iemitsu didn't even use a word suitable for a person while referring to his second son.

"You can just sign the papers if you don't want to keep him," she continued, keeping his anger at bay while motioning the nurse to ready the adoption papers.

"We'll keep him," the mother, Sawada Nana said that brought hope back to her for the new born baby. "He could be of use when he grew up"

Not one of them even acknowledges that the baby is there son, the other half of the baby in their arms who receives all the love and attention. One looks disgusted that the baby even survived while the other is like putting an investment that will give them convenience. She was already tempted to keep the baby on her own if it isn't just illegal.

"What will be his name?"

"Just think of one and write it on his birth certificate. I don't want to bother with minor details," Iemitsu told the doctor.

"Then it will be Tsunayoshi"

Fourteen years have pass and nothing changes. Not once in all those years Tsunayoshi have met his twin brother and the other one is oblivious of his existence. All he was given is a room to stay at the back of their house. He isn't allowed to step foot inside their household unless he have to clean or cook for them. He was nothing but a servant to his supposed to be family.

Despite everything, he stays hopeful that one day he could feel his parents' embrace, their love even just for a bit. Unfortunately, he's running out of time.

"Who are you?" a blond teen asked the boy his age who have brown gravity defying hair and a doe-like brown eyes. He was already off to school when he remember his homework he left on his table so he went back only to find a teen wearing a Kokuyo uniform going out of their gate.

"I-I'm Tsunayoshi..."

"Why did you come from our house Tsunayoshi-kun? By the way, I'm Sawada Ietsuna"

"Tsunayoshi! You damn insolent brat! Clean the whole house first before you're allowed to go to school!" a shout interrupted them. Ietsuna stares shocked when their front door opens revealing his sweet-loving mother burning in anger.

"O-Okaasan?" Tsuna called and watched Nana's expression morphed into shock and panic.

"Tsu-kun, why are you here? I though you're already in school," the woman asked while her eyes keep drifting back and forth the two boys.

"Why are you shouting at Tsunayoshi? Who is he?" the confused boy asked then shifted his gaze to the brunet beside him.

"T-Tsuna-san... Onii-san..." Tsunayoshi said looking straight at his twin brother. He wasn't surprised that Ietsuna didn't even have a glimpse of recognition of him or even suspect their relationship since they look nothing alike. While his hair spike in all direction, Ietsuna has short blond hair and blue eyes. He almost look exactly like Iemitsu-san, Tsuna's father.

"I have a brother?" Ietsuna asked almost in whisper that they wouldn't hear if not for the deadly silence that engulf them.

"I can explain Tsu-kun—"Nana started but was cut-off by the brunet.

"We're twin Nii-san but unfortunately they only want one so Oka—Nana-san and Iemitsu-san hide me since I'm dame anyway." Tsunayoshi decide that he wants his brother to know about him. Hoping, again, that at least one would accept him.

"K-Kaa-san, is it true?"

"Tsu-kun..." having nothing to say, she just glare at the younger twin.

"How could you hide this from me?" Ietsuna said before running away from the house. The left crying woman directed her attention to the brunet still standing in front of their gate.

"You! How dare you destroy my family? I should have just sign those papers since you're useless anyway. I don't want to see your face anymore, just die!" she shouted and push the boy on the road in front of the fast approaching car.
