Everyday its the same old tale
Enough to make anyone go pale
What I see
Are bad people roaming free
Factions comprised of hate
All claiming to be from my faith
People of my race
Committing acts of utter disgrace
People of my nationality
Causing all forms of fatality
Claiming to be holy men
They are doing acts my religion condemns
I do not blame the fear and detest
Felt by some from the West
But I must say
Such news pains me everyday
I do not stand with these monsters in solidarity
They cause my nations, my religion, disparity
I do not applaud what they do
I do not feel happy about the innocent blood they spew
I am not a savage and neither are majority of my race
I do not discriminate
I do not spread hate
I believe in love and compassion
Things my religion taught me in my spirit to fashion
I am a Muslim
I love all
Its just these monsters I do appall
