Her Faked Personality

.PROLOGUE.
My feet skidded over the brown bark as I pumped my legs back and forth.
"I'm so going higher than you," I stated. Molly shook her head.
"Alex. What are you, 6? I'm not going to compete with you on who's going higher on a swing." Molly rolled her big, brown eyes, keeping her feet on the ground as she swayed gently back and forth on the park swing. I stuck my tounge out at her in defense.
"C'mon, you know you want to," I teased. She narrowed her eyes at me, pursing her lips. After a few moments, she broke out into a grin.
"I do." I smiled back at her, and we both started pumping our legs faster, making our bodies swing higher.
"I'm winning!" we both yelled at the same time, laughing.
"No, I am totally winning, Alex. I can touch the sky!" Molly yelled, kicking her left leg up higher, attempting to act as she's touching the sky. As she kicked her leg up, she started to wobble, then tilted backward, falling down onto the ground, letting out a startled scream. Stopping my swing, I jumped up, then ran over to her.
"Dude, that was epic!" I grinned, leaning over her.
"Oh, thanks for caring," She responded jokingly. I put out my hand for her to grab it. She steadied her feet as I helped her stand up.
After she brushed all the dirt and bark off of her, we made our way to the park bench. I sat down on it, with her following along, sitting beside me.
"This is a great way to spend my last day here," I murmured, looking down at my dirty black converse.
"Yeah, it is. I can't believe you're leaving already. What am I going to do after tomorrow when my best friend leaves?" She wondered, and I just shrugged.
"You'll live," I stated, turning to her and smiled slightly.
She placed a hand on her heart, and leaned back, squeezing her eyes shut. "No I won't. I'll die when you leave me behind, all alone and forgotten."
"Hey!" I yelled, pushing her playfully on the shoulder. "I could never forget about you." She opened her eyes, then sat back up.
"I know, I'm just to amazing for you to forget me." She smiled.
"Yeah, that's it," I teased, grinning.
"So, do you think you're new school will be the same as here?" I nodded.
"I'll probably just be ignored like usual, make one or two friends. Let's face it, no one's interested in a girl like me."
"Oh come on, Alex. You have tons of friends here! Also, you're friends with basically, every guy at the school," she added.
"Yeah, I know Molly," I sighed. "It's just, all the guys look at me as just a friend, you know? Not girlfriend-material. It's almost as they look as me as one of them, as one of the guys."
She flashed me her famous grin. "But that's you, Alex. You're not the type of person who dresses in all pink, wears low-cut shirts, and is all over the popular guys."
"Oh my god, that's perfect molly! I'm going to go my new school as a totally different person. I'm going to act as someone I'm not. Atleast it'll get me more of an interesting role in the social-list." I smirked.
"What, Alex? No. You wouldn't be able to last one day in a skirt. It sounds crazy fun though," She laughed. I looked at her, totally serious.
"I bet I could, and I will. Just watch me."
