"Good morning" I hear Liam's voice say behind me. "Hey, how are you?" I ask. "Fine, what about you? Spencer told me you're upset." "I am okay, thanks" I say and start doing my push-ups. Liam picks up two dumbbells from the floor and I see his biceps flex as he pushes them up and down. "So how's things with you and Spencer?" "Uh, really good, actually." We don't talk much. I'm not in the mood to anyway. I feel so empty without Harry and I am worried. The thought of his scars doesn't leave my mind. He told me it wasn't my fault, but whose was it then? I was the one that left him. "Everything alright?" Liams voice snaps me out of my thoughts. I nod and give him the best fake smile I can pull of. "There's a concert tomorrow night at the Wreckers bar. Spencer and I are going, do you want to come, too?" "Uh, no thanks. I'm sure you two want to be alone" I answer. "Oh come on, Joey is coming, too. It's gonna be fun!" "Alright" I give in. "Great, see you around" he says before leaving the gym. After taking a shower and putting on a pair of jeans and a bordeaux sweater I head to my only class of the day. Divorce. The professor hands us our first assignment. A divorce case we were supposed to solve. I start working on it immediately because it is pretty simple. "Oh, hey there" I hear a familiar voice say behind me. I turn around and face Cole. "Hey" I answer. "Didn't know you were in this class." "Now you do" I snap. I didn't mean to sound that bitchy. "Woah, someone's having a bad day." More like a bad life recently, I think to myself and frown. "I'm sorry. I'm not feeling well these days" I apologize. "Why's that?" he asks and seems really concerned. "It's kind of a long story" I tell him. "Oh, I see. Well if you want to talk, I'll be around" he says and focuses on his work again. After class I go back to my room to find Spencer waiting for me. "Lindsay, you need a serious wake up call. I understand you're sad because of your boyfriend and everything, but you can't walk around like a zombie hating everything" she tells me. I roll my eyes but she does have a point. "So what am I supposed to do?" I ask. "Let's do something together! We could go shopping and watch a movie afterwards! Sounds good, eh?" I nod. It really sounds tempting. "Alright, let's go" I answer smiling and we leave the dorm room. I am glad to have a friend like her. On our way to the mall I get a text from Emma saying that she lives with Lucy now and everything's alright. I feel relieved. I also text Harry asking how he's doing but he doesn't answer. I decide to not think about it and focus on Spencer who is singing along to some song in the radio. 

When we arrive at the mall Spencer and I grab a coffee before heading for the makeup store. I get a new eyeliner and a nude lipstick and Spencer buys a set of makeup brushes. Afterwards we walk around the mall we've both never been at before and look at the different stores. We spot a little boutique that looks cute so we go inside and take a look at their stuff. The annoying shop assistant introduces herself as Jennifer and offers us her help. Spencer tries on a beige trench coat with leather sleeves which looks amazing on her. "You should definitely buy that!" I tell her. I decide to try on a strapless bandeau top with an aztec pattern. It makes my cleavage stand out more than usual but it's pretty so I decide to get it. After leaving the store Spencer tells me she wants a new pair of boots so we head for a shoe store. It's a really expensive one but it doesn't seem to bother her. I wonder what her parents work as. She tries on different types of boots and picks out a pair of brown leather boots by Gucci. She hands the cashier her credit card and fishes out her phone out of her pocket. "Hello Mr Sexy" she says and earns a shocked look from the shop assistant. I suppose it's Liam on the other line. "I'm at the mall with Lindsay" she tells him and whilst listening to her conversation with Liam I realize I miss being called Linds instead of Lindsay. She hangs up the phone and looks at me with guilt in her expression. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Nothing" she stutters. "What movie should we watch?" she asks smiling. "I don't even know what's on right now" I laugh. We eventually decide to watch 'Despicable Me 2'. Spencer is the only person that would drag me into a kids movie and not even care about the fact that we share a cinema with a bunch of five year olds. We get some popcorn and nachos before looking for our seats in the cinema.
