Chapter 1~Him

Hey guys. I hope you like it.  This is my first story so comment below what you think and what can improve and I'll do it👍

MAYAS POV
Ugh. Mondays. I HATE MONDAYSSSSSSS. Well, I guess Mondays probably hate me too so... We are even  ;D

Anyway, at the minute, I'm walking to my locker with Riley.

"What do we have first period?" Riley asks me.

"History," I reply.

"Same. Let's walk together"

The warning bell rings and I can hear all of the people walking to class. Including me and Riley.

As we walk into history class, I see Farkle preparing for the lesson, and Bucky Mcboing-boing.

Riley and Farkle are officially 'a couple' since last month and all I ever hear Riley talking about is Farkle. It took them long enough!

Now, everyone keeps asking me...
"Are you a 'thing' with Lucas."
Or "does Riley mind that you are with Lucas." So annoying.

Okay, I do like Lucas a little but that is one of my deepest darkest secrets that no one has, or will know about. Not even Riley.

I'm not sure if Lucas likes me back though. I hope he does.

Mr Matthews: So today class, I have an assignment I want you to comp...

Before Mr Matthews could finish his speech, a very familiar man appears in the class room...

Thoughts start spiralling inside my head.

Oh,no. Not him please please. Anyone but him.  Why is he even here.  I haven't seen him in years...I...I....

Familiar man: Excuse me, I'm looking for Maya Hart?

I try to speak but my mouth is too dry. However, I manage to squeeze out a word I've been wanting to say for years...

Me: Dad?
