TRY OUT MY OTHER STORIES!
I grew up hungrily going to the library as often as I could, devouring books left and right. I remember at one point, the librarians saw me so often they would ask me questions about where books went on the shelves or where to find a certain author! One day I was even given a special library card with no limit on how much I could check out. I understood that books could have a large impact on a persons life and I often dreamed of one day seeing my own books on library shelves, being devoured by other readers -changing their lives as I had my life changed. I decided then and there that I would become an author -no matter how hard the path and no matter how much work it would be.
I wrote everything from books to comics -which I would sell to other kids during recess! By the time I hit junior high, I was being pestered by my friends to write a book where we all were surviving a zombie apocalypse. I spent the next few years slowly working on the book, among various other writing projects, school, and growing up. After finally completing a zombie book -called 'Here Lies: No One'- I self-published a few copies just for my friends and spend the next few weeks in euphoric excitement as to what I had accomplished. I had finished and printed my first large, full-length novel! I had plenty of other works, but that had been the largest project I had ever undertaken. Obsessed and hungry for more- I wrote furiously, creating other stories and brainstorming the perfect idea. Life and growing up kept me busy -from finishing school and sports, to getting married, having a baby, and getting my Associates- but I always found time to write. 'Blank' the manuscript for a five book series, is my latest accomplishment. I feel as if it's my best work yet. I've found many that like the book and many that are excited to see it published. I finally feel ready to step out of my shell and become a full-fledged author. Time to fulfill that long-ago dream of seeing my books on library shelves. I hope I am able to achieve success with this manuscript and one day hear about another little kid just like me, going to a library and reading my book -and having his/her life changed by it.
