Chapter 2~ Speechless

Hey guys. This is now my second chapter, so like last time, if you likey, tell me. If you don't likey, then tell me how you think I should improve and I will try😊

Mr Matthews: Maya, if you would like to go outside and talk privately with your dad, I dismiss you.

I was speechless. I didn't know what to say so I just nodded my head and followed my dad out on to the corridor.

Dad: ...Hey...

'Hey!' That's the best he can come up with!!! Turning up out of nowhere, when I haven't seen him in years!!!

Me: Erm... What... What are you doing here?

He took a while to reply. In that time, I was able to come up with 3 possible reasons why he is here.

Well, only 2 because I know that he is definitely here for number 3...

1) He has came to annoy me- most probably
2) He has come to apologise but then leave again- possibly
3) He had came to apologise, and stay- definitely not

Dad:Well, I'm here to... Erm... Tell you something you should have known... Erm... Along time ago...

When he said this, it made me clueless. What is he going to say next. I braced myself for anything.

Dad:So... Erm... Basically... Erm...

I give him a look that says 'just tell me already!'

Dad: Ok, ok. This is hard for me too you know. As I was saying, your not an only child...

Was I imagining this. Did I just here what I think I heard.

Me: Wait what!!! I have a sibling. How old? What gender? Why are you only telling me now?

Dad: Wow wow wow, slow down. She is the same age as you, an...

Me: I have a sister (yay...NOT) Is she from your NEW family that you picked over me and mum???

(Sigh of relief ) I'm glad I go that out!

Dad: No she is not from my new family, and I'm sorry. I just wasn't ready to be a dad yet. Oh and there's just one...

Why is he pausing. When people pause it is generally not good. (Gulp)

Dad: Oh it doesn't matter.

Me: You can't just turn up and tell me I have a sister and not tell me anything else. What where you gonna say!!!

Dad: ok, ok. You and your sister... Are twins...

Ok. Easy Maya, easy. I thought having a sister was bad but a TWIN sister.

Me: and... And where had SHE been living the past 15 years?

Don't say it. Don't say it...

Dad: with me.

...

He picked my twin sister over me. And only now chooses to tell me.

I Started to walk away. I could feel the tears running down my face.

Dad: Maya.... Wait.... I.... I can explain.

Me: Just leave me alone

Dad: Maya please...

Me: I SAID JUST LEAVE ME ALONE.

As I said that, a miracle happened. The bell rang. Now I can hide within the crowd, so my dad can't follow me.

But I still can't believe it. He picked her over me.

As I begin to walk to next lesson,I realise something;

I wonder what mum has to say about this.
