Blake's P.O.V
Blake walked through her front door with Kellan following close behind her. They snuck up to her bedroom, not wanting to risk waking their parents. When Kellan closed the door behind her, Blake let the tears that she had been holding in all night take her. Uncontrollable sobs rocked her body as she slid onto her bed. The bed that after tonight, she wouldn't probably ever sleep in again. Kellan didn't say anything to her as she slipped into the bed beside her and held her close.
Blake didn't realize that she had fallen asleep until Kellan shook her awake. Blake looked around her room to see both Alex and Keith climbing through her window. Blake still couldn't risk looking at Alex. Everything he had told her was a lie. She didn't know what to believe anymore. She knew that she was probably over-reacting because she really didn't know him all that well, they had just met a week ago. But there was a connection between them that she couldn't deny. The way her insides twisted into knots when he was around was one clue, and she still couldn't read his color, and that bothered her.
"They are going to help us pack." Kellan said in a hushed tone.
Blake turned to see that it was barely seven in the morning. She nodded at her sister and pulled her suitcase from her closet. Kellan crept out of her room to do the same.
"Blake, I'm sorry about everythin-" Alex started but Blake cut him off.
"I don't really care what your reasons are. You got what you wanted from me, I'm coming with you. I don't see the need to further this lie you have going on." Blake hissed at him.
Alex sighed in defeat and nodded before turning to leave her to her thoughts. Kellan walked through the door and Alex went through her bags to see that she had everything that she would need.
Blake didn't know where they were going, so she grabbed all kinds of pants, shirts and workout clothes. When she went to grab her laptop, Alex stopped her.
"You won't need that. You won't have time." he said.
"I have to keep up with my school work and to keep in touch with our parents. I'm taking it with me." Blake stated hard.
Alex was about to say something when Keith stopped him.
"Blake I know that with everything that's happened, it's a lot to take in, but just know that if we had a choice, you wouldn't need to leave your home and family. Unfortunately that's not how your life is, and we're really sorry about that. There are a lot of things that you don't understand right now, some we aren't even sure about, but please, trust us to keep you and your family safe." Keith said from the other side of her room.
Blake looked at each of their faces and took a deep breath. She looked at her sister, and vowed that if there was anything in her, she would fight with everything that she had to protect her family.
Blake watched from the front porch as her parents loaded their bags into the trunk of their car and drove off with smiles and waves. Blake was surprised that Alex's agency was able to follow through with their promise to send them away. Her mother had gotten a call this morning about a 'free' vacation, and that they were selected for from her father's company. They were to go on a couples getaway cruise for four weeks. Traveling all over and going to different countries like Spain. Blake and Kellan had to convince their parents that they would be ok without them. School would be ending soon, so they didn't need to worry about that.
