Remus Lupin was a mysterious boy. The people around usually ignored the Lupin family, but the kids just couldn't not just stop and stare at the raggedy boy Mr. and Mrs. Lupin drove off with every few days to "the doctors". One of the many rumors about Remus spreading around was that someone had saw him climbing out of his window one night. Another was that when Remus wasn't seen for at least a week each month he was probably off doing something scandalous. These rumors were everywhere. Although parents and others sweared it was silly, but they couldn't help to wonder. So when the boy disappeared one year, the town was bewildered. At first when they saw the Lupins driving off, they figured it was off to go see a new "doctor", but when they came back without Remus the rumors went wild. That summer when Remus came back he looked different. He seemed less raggedy and a lot happier. In the middle of summer, 3 odd looking boys went over to the Lupin's house. All the boys seemed about the same age. One seemed just as ragged as Remus used to, but he had slick black hair and was very pale. Although he seemed wary of the town, he seemed the most excited to be there. About a week later the 3 boys left just as odd as they came. Then in September, Remus left once again and the town was left again to ponder.
