I suggest listening to the song "Still Into You" by Paramore. Pretty much the perfect song for this chapter.

1 year later

(Mark p.o.v.)
I walked down the streets of Cincinnati next to my good friend, Wade. It had been about a year since I had moved back to Cincinnati from Los Angeles to spend more time with my family and friends and to get away from the pain that lied in L.A. It's hard to let go of, but I manage just fine. Last I had heard, my old roommates, Ryan Magee and Matt Watson, were producing a feature film. I hope it was coming to theaters here as well. My other friend, Jack, also known as JackSepticEye, had kept making videos and grew unimaginably fast. He had hit 15 million subscribers about a week ago I think. I wasn't sure, it had been a while since we had last spoke. I, however, had started making one video a day, and most of them were shorter than they had been before. I had decided to make more time for my friends and family. Speaking of which, Wade said he wanted to take me somewhere for the evening, but it was a surprise. So he lead me through the streets until we reached what seemed to be our destination. At least I think it was, seeing as he stopped in front of it. It seemed to be a venue.
Mark: What is it?
I shrugged. He pointed to a poster outside of the building that read:

Lindsey Stirling: Music Box Tour.

I glared at him, turned around, and started walking away. He called after me, ran up to me, and turned me towards him. He held something up. Two tickets.
Mark: I'm not going in there.
Wade: Why not?
Mark: You know why, Wade.
He sighed and looked at me sympathetically.
Wade: Look, you're not going to have to talk to her. It's just, you haven't been yourself since...her. So just...come on. It'll be fun. We can watch the show, and then grab some ice cream or some shit like that. Okay?
Mark: Wade...
Wade: Mark, please.
I huffed. He wasn't going to give up.
Mark: Fine. As long as we can leave as soon as it's done.
Wade: Okay. Now let's go.

We were in our seats as I looked around anxiously.
Wade: Dude, everything is fine. Okay?
I nodded as the lights began to dim and the music began to play. Then the stage lights turned on and there she was. She was still beautiful. She played as the crowd went wild for her. Like I still was. Then when the song finished, she put her violin down and walked up to the mic.
Lindsey: Hello Cincinnati!
The crowd cheered. Her voice is still beautiful. She looked out into the crowd, and then she scanned the front row until her eyes stopped...on me. She looked shocked, but quickly shook it off and covered it up with a smile. She didn't acknowledge me the whole rest of the show.

It really was a great show, I must admit. I really liked it, but it was hard to truly enjoy myself when she was right there in front of me, yet just out of my grasp. No, Mark. You gave her up. Stop it! I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts as we walked out of the building. We were walking around the corner when we heard someone call out my name. I turned around to see her peaking out of the back door. She motioned for me to walk over. I looked at Wade, who nodded and backed up some before I approached her.
Lindsey: Hey.
Mark: Hi.
Lindsey: It's been a while.
Mark: Yeah, it has.
Lindsey: How've you been doing?
Better now that I'm standing in front of- No! Stop it!
Mark: Good.
Lindsey: That's good to hear.
Then she turned around as we heard someone from inside call her name. She turned back to me.
Lindsey: I have to go. Bye Mark.
Mark: By-
But before I could finish the words, the door had already closed. But I still have more to say. I turned around to see Wade giving me the same sympathetic smile he gave me before the show. I nodded as we kept walking down the street. But something was different.

I still have more to say.
I still love the sound of hr voice.
The look of her smile.
The color of her eyes.

I still love Lindsey.

A/N: So, this is the direction I'm planning on heading. Sorry this is a bit short. It was mainly to kind of figure out where I want this to go, but I think I've got it, at least for now. So, nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed it and will kept enjoying it. So, anyways, until next time...
