As I walked to the Tweedle's house I wondered about what the surface dweller was like. We're they sane, or mad like us? Do they all look the same up there? Is it even a human? I was so lost in thought I tripped over something and fell. I stood up and brushed some dirt off my shirt while looking around to see what I tripped on. "Oh, sorry," I say, seeing it was some momeraths. I continued to walk towards the Tweedle's. Knock knock I waited for someone to open the door. "Who's there," called one of them, "Yeah, who's there," repeated the other. "It's me, Alex," I yell to the door. Suddenly it opens, revealing Tweedle Dee in the door way and Tweedle Dum standing not far off behind. "So guys," I start, "want to go on an adventure?"

The Tweedles and I walked through the wonderlandian forest. I was just thinking about things as they chattered behind me. Luckily I happened to pick a piece up. "So if we're looking for a surface dweller, wouldn't they be all tiny?" Asked Tweedle Dum. "Yeah because of the bottle," replied Dee. "Stop," I commanded suddenly, "If they're small, then shouldn't we be looking at the ground?" "So we don't step on them, right?" inquired Tweedle Dee. "Well, yes," I reply, "but also so we can, I don't know, find them!" "Oh yeah," they said simultaneously. We kept looking after that, this time at the ground.

As I walked about I thought to myself. Will anyone look for me? Does anyone know I'm here? How long will I be gone from my world? Then a new thought came across, and it wasn't about wondering, it was about being found, it was about a cat.

After about 3 hours of searching we all went back to our own homes. When I returned to mine I was exhausted. Naturally I didn't expect a trip wire in my doorway so when paint splattered all over me, I was mad, and not the good kind. "Cheshire!" I shouted, knowing he was invisible somewhere so he could watch his trick. "Yes," he said from somewhere in the room. "Get out," I said through gritted teeth, "now!" "Well alright then, but I guess you don't get to here the good news. Anyways, I guess I'll see you around Alex." He was almost through the door (he had become visible again) when I said, "What new, exactly?"

Luckily I knew exactly how to fine the certain cat I was looking for. I had gotten a map of Wonderland a long time ago, and somehow I remembered all of it. I knew the Cat's tree was near the the Hatter's house. I hope that map was right. As I walked aimlessly thought the forest, I realized I didn't know where the Hatter's house was. "Dang it!" I said frustrated, then again it didn't really matter, the map probably wasn't real. As I stomped around I heard a deep, rolling voice from somewhere. "Why so upset little one?" It asked curiously, something about it made me trust it. "I can't find someone. Don't suppose you've seen a cat around, have you?" I questioned the voice. "Hmmm... Well I haven't seen one, but I know where it is, I believe." "Chess?" I asked, catching on, "Is that you up there, or down there?" "Hello," he said as he appeared on a tree limb above me. "Thank god. Someone I actually know." I say, "Don't suppose you would know how to make me bigger, would you?" "Well, I'm not an expert, but I know someone who is," he replied, "and exactly how do you know me, I've never seen you before." "Oh, well in my world you're a fictional character, one of my favorites though. My favorite character from Alice in Wonderland." "Is that what the story is called in your world? Well it's quite accurate because Alice can now never leave Wonderland," Chessie stated solemnly. "What do you mean," I ask, trying not to edge him on too much. "She died," he said sadly, "last week." I didn't know what to say next, but then suddenly I did. "I'm sorry, I always wanted to be her when I was a little girl. I'm sure she was amazing." "That she was, but now you get to be amazing also. There has been a prophecy about you, you need to do something that Alice couldn't. You miss, must kill the Red queen." I gasped, "M-me?" I ask more then say. "Yes, now come along. If you are to fight we must have you be the proper height."

"Well you see, I might have found the dreamer," Cheshire said as he glanced back at me. "Where are they?!" I asked urgently, "Chess this isn't a joke! Where are they?" "I know very well this isn't a joke sir, but come along I'll show you." I replied angrily, "I would love to come along, but I'm covered in paint!" "Oh well then, I guess you won't be able to meet her." "Her? It's a girl?" I asked quite curious. "Well I guess you'll just have to find out," Cheshire replied as he floated out of the door. I, of course, had to follow him. As we walked I thought about, her. What was she like? Was she my age? How did she find Cheshire? Why did I ponder so much? "We're here," stated Chess, I looked up from the ground, Absolem's home? "Why would he have her here, and why would he give me the stupid scroll?" "I just received her today," said Absolem from behind me, "The Cheshire Cat just brought her a little while ago." "How long have you had her?" I asked Chessie in a semi-accusing tone. "I just found her yesterday," he replied, not happy I accused him. "What's her name," I ask to now one in particular. "Why don't you ask her yourself?" said Absolem as a figure came up behind him. "Hi," I heard the voice say, it was feminine, "I'm Lexi."
