Ch1: Rainbow Crash

"Nice one Clutzershy!", poked the young pegasus ,"My baby brother can fly faster then you!", he laughed, hoof bumping the other pegasus beside him as they both laughed baring down on Fluttershy. She said nothing, all she could do is tear up and look down sadly. Then, a flash of Rainbow light zooms through the corner of Fluttershy's eye. The two pegasi turned their heads to the Rainbow pegasus standing proudly behind them. "Hey! Leave her alone feather brains!", Rainbow Dash stood in front of Fluttershy, smiling down at her, then turning back to the other pegasi. "Ha! Oh yeah? And what are you gonna do about it Rainbow Crash! Huh?",the remark made Rainbow grit her teeth,"Keep making fun of her and find out!", her wings poked up in anger, the two pegasi noticed it and smirked at each other. "So, you think your fast huh?", they said roughly poking her wing, "I don't think, I know I'm fast! What's your point?", she could see an idea burn like a flame in their eyes. "Say, Crash, how bout a race? Us vs you! If we win, we get to pick on you two for as long as we want! If you win, we'll leave you alone, what do ya say?". Rainbow thought for a moment, then a confident smile formed on her face,"Deal!", she looked back at Fluttershy, who gave a thankful smile. Later that day, Rainbow and the other two pegasi lined up at the starting line. Fluttershy held the flag on a small cloud near it. Rainbow looked at the boys who gave an evil smirk,"Your going down!", Rainbow gave a smirk back,"Ha, yeah, in history maybe!", and with that, Fluttershy waved the flag and they took off. The wind from behind them pushed Fluttershy on the edge of her cloud, nearly knocking her off. But just when she was about to fall, strange blue magic lifted her up and back onto the cloud. Fluttershy did not know what happened, but she did know that whatever had picked her up, was heading Rainbow's way. Just ahead, Rainbow was zooming through the wind like a missile. The two pegasi ganged up on her, sticking their tongue out and dashing off ahead of her. Rainbow tried to catch up, but just when she started to catch up to them and even get ahead of them, the same strange blue magic surrounded Rainbow Dash, pulling her to a complete stop. "Hey! What the!", she yelped as she struggled to continue but all she could do is watch as the two pegasi finish the race, causing Rainbow to lose. Once the magic finally let go of her, she turned around and met the pegasi at the finish line."Well well, losers weepers huh Dash?", the small pegasus laughed hoof bumping his pal,"But, that wasn't fair! I was stopped by something! I couldn't move!", Rainbow shouted, frustrated and confused."Sounds like the words of a sore loser! You'll never be nothing but a mistake Rainbow Crash!",the words hit Rainbow like a high speed train. The two pegasi continued to point and laugh, Rainbow got so furious she started to tear up. She couldn't stay there any longer, she quickly turned and flew off onto a smaller seperate cloud that was high up. Fluttershy couldn't bare to see her like that, so she used all her might to fly up to that tiny cloud."Rainbow?", Fluttershy said as she used her last ounce of strength latching onto the cloud and climbing onto it. Rainbow barely glanced at her,"I'm sorry I didn't win for you Flutters, I just thought...", she didn't finish, but she didn't have to, Fluttershy put her hoof on her shoulder and gave her a kind smile."You didn't have to, you shouldn't have to, I should have been able to take care of myself in the first place, I shouldn't have to count on you to do it for me, how selfish of me.", she looked down flooded with guilt, she had humiliated her friend for her own needs. Rainbow sat up, recognizing that sorry look in Fluttershy's eyes and handed out her hoof for a hoof bump. Fluttershy wiped away a tear and accepted it."Just you wait Flutters, soon, we'll be something great...", and just like that, a promise was made.
